This is one of the very finest books I have come across concerning the 90th Bombardment group. Mr. Woods references, cross references and attention to detail are much appreciated. It is an absolute must for those doing research in this area.

If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings or fantasy from the Middle Ages then this is the book for you. With a great story and an even better ending I strongly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

This book is very useful for teaching multicultural songs, especially if you lack knwoledge in that area. The book has
activities for each song as well as five book recomendations for each country.

Dr. Chris McKay works for NASA as an astrobiologist, someone who studies extreme environments on earth in an attempt to answer the long-asked question of whether life can exist elsewhere in our universe. This book follows his journey to some of the most lifeless areas of Earth. He searches for tiny microbes in Antarctica, Chile, Siberia, and the Sahara Desert. The underlying theory is that if life is able to survive in the coldest and driest areas of Earth, maybe there is life beyond our planet. The author does a great job at chronicling Dr. McKay's story and making the readers feel like they are along on the journey. The book is filled with colorful pictures of the places that the research team traveled, along with pictures and artist conceptions of Mars and other planets. I especially enjoyed the pictures that compared the surface of Mars to some areas on Earth. This book really got me thinking about whether is it possible that there is life elsewhere in our universe. There are so many science fiction stories about life on other planets, and it was refreshing to hear the case from a scientific standpoint where you can see that the idea is actually possible. There are no "little green men" in this book, only tiny microbes that could be living in places that we would never expect. This book is great for a science fiction fan who wants to learn more about life in our universe from a scientific and realistic standpoint.

This book tells of the adventures of Barbara Anne, a young girl livin in Maryland during the American Revolution. Barbara is lost in the woods when she stumbles upon a secret meeting of Patriots. Even though she is a Patriot they take her for a Tory spy. Barbara Anne keeps their secret so they can let her go home. Later she becomes friends with the daughter of one of the men. The reason this book didn't get a 10 was it could have been a little better.

This book continues the story of Anne Nelson, begun in A Little Maid of Provincetown. In this book Anne's exciting adventures during the Revolution continue. I highly reccomend this book.

This book tells about Ellen Elizabeth Barlow. Ellen, called Ellie, is a little girl who lives in Connecticut during the American Revolution. Ellie has many adventures. She goes to visit her grandmother and is able to deliver a message to the American Army.

Annette is a Patriot girl in 1783 New York. Her best friend is a Loyalist. The war is over but the British still haven't left New York. Still, Annette hopes and prays they will, and when that day comes, Annette is among the triumphant Americans that cheer.
