Our Sunday School Class has finished one DVD by Andy Stanley and has just started this one. We really enjoy the material
and our class builds every week as members spread the word about the program. I hope we can find more after we finish this
one. Many of our members ask to take the DVD home to listen to it again after we have completed the lessons. We recommend
the DVD to anyone and everyone!

This is a must have for all graduating High School Seniors or College Grads, frankly it could even be a baby gift to help
all of us parents out there understand how to help our next generation understand successful finances.
Our children live in a must have right now environment and we have taken away the gift of waiting and wanting something so that the joy of getting it is almost better than having the item.
These Gen Y kids are great and need a road map to help them succeed.
This is a great read which you will keep thinking about for days.

Everyone who is looking into opening up a therapeautic business whether it be small or large, should read this book,as it will
give you an excellent resource of information on how to create an exceptional outstanding business.
I have been in this industry for many many years, working all over the world, when I read this book I especially liked the part on HOW TO STAFF A SALON " because you can have all the money in the world but if you don't have the right staff your business will never make it"
The management section is a must for manager's as it will help in understanding not only the paper work side to management but gives activities to do eg. a check list to motivating staff.
once you buy this book all the information you need to create the best business is at your fingertips time and time again

"Gorilla Sleepover" is a great adaptation of the "Stanley" TV story by the same name, written by Robert David. The story is
adapted by Laura Driscoll and illustrated by Alisa Klayman-Grodsky.
In this story, Stanley's friend Lester comes over for a sleepover. But he's nervous and doesn't feel comfortable sleeping away from home. The two use knowledge from "The Great Big Book of Everything" to help Lester feel more at home.
This book includes fun animal facts about gorillas and a mini-maze. The illustrations are excellent and readers will learn some really neat things, and an important lesson too. Highly recommended for all "Stanley" fans.

I have never been a fan of science fiction but this set of classic tapes (I listend in the car) are among the best "reads"
I've ever enjoyed. I didn't want to leave my car. I found myself sitting in the parking lot before work listening to just
"a little more". The reader is phenominal. Treat yourself and buy the tapes. You won't regret it.

Most of us had our first time reading about the age of exploration in grade school, and this book will make a second look
more interesting. The author brings to light many unknowns, eccentric Europeans that risked their lives for the sake of knowledge,
fame, riches, and all of the above. It is difficult to believe that historically this era of exploration is not so long ago.
Two huge continents remained still largely unknown to the outside world until fairly recent times. The source of the Nile,
an ancient mystery was only solved around the time of the American Civil War. The author covers the well known explorers
like Pizarro, Cortez, and Cook and has a very skillful way of wandering off the storyline, in a good way. He mentions motives,
anecdotes, ties up loose ends, or updates to the present to show the significance of the subject. Even though the book is
dated, 1974, some of the theories discussed are still being debated, such as the origin and spread of syphilis, or the migration
of the early Polynesian peoples. It is difficult to find a book containing the accounts of explorers such as Burton, Speke,
and Captain James Cook.
The author also puts forth some of his own observations, one example being, that the two major cultures in the Americas at the time of the Spanish landing in the Americas, both had the myth of the light skinned, blue eyed bearded gods coming from the East, conversely Europe always had the myth that there is land to the West out in the Atlantic.
Well worth the read, for the main story or the interesting side stories

I highly recommend this book. For those of you that can read French, you are in for a treat! Many of these poems and stories
I read over 10 years ago, but they are still fresh and poignant in my mind. My favorite is Guy de Maupaussant. This is definitely
worth the investment. French poetry and stories are special in the sense that the writers have examined themselves on a philosophical
level. It almost seems as if each writer is trying to teach you something worthwhile. If you can read German, there is another
book like this one by the same company that is also dual language. Relax and enjoy a sample of the French literary world.
Note: the translations are not exact. It is highly recommended that you read it in the original language.
