This is a wonderful book ! Both for the beginner and to keep for reference!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!It has GREAT PICTURES To SEE and the directions are very straight forward.It even gives you the name of trees you are attepting to DRAW!!GREAT!!

this is a fantastic full bodied resource for studying the new tesament. It is well researched by two bona fide new testament scholars and the material is fair by dipping into both conservative, liberal, and semi-conservative views on many of the issues. The conclusions drawn on many subjects are sober and sane. Many issues are treated: new testament backgrounds, canon formation, Jesus studies, individual book issues and more. Just a great resource, a wealth of carefully researched material, I couldn't recommend it more!!

This book really teaches you about the earth and the components of it. After you read this book you will feel closer to earth and to its beautiful surroundings because it won't only show you beautiful pictures, it will also teach you what caused it to be that way. Is pure science and it is wondeful.

Have 13yr old grandson, with reading problems. He, WE, were so engrossed in this book, it became the first he ever finished and I read it through the first night, had to know how it came out. I couldn't wait! My first experience with David A. Adler, it will not be our last. WISH IT WERE A SERIES. Interesting, Easy reading, Holds attention, well written, realistic, broad age appeal. It is in our local library...should be in everyones!

Ever since I was an undergraduate in physics at MIT in 1974 and found an obscure reference to Eddington's theory in another book (Applied Group Theoretic and Matrix Methods by Brian Higman), I've been reading Eddington's books and papers dealing with his theory and trying to understand his ideas. Finally there is a book that was written by someone who has studied them extensively, published papers dealing with them and obviously has an excellent understanding of this subject.

I have read this book several times and now have a good idea of where Eddington got his ideas and why he got them. The book has explained much of why it is so difficult to understand Eddington's writings. It has made me understand why he was convinced that his algebra was crucial to understanding physics. Also it points out some of the errors in his thinking.

If you are familiar with Eddington's works and want to understand them better, this is the book for you.

Every business leader should adopt this as gospel for success.

This book serves to inform the reader of the current progress of research on eicosanoid signal transduction in invertebrate organisms, namely insects. The author is an expert in the field not only in the United States but in Europe as well and has published extensively on this subject. David Stanley's discussion of eicosanoids as signal molecules illustrates the biological significance of these molecules from the cellular level to their impact on physiological ecology. After reading this book I concluded that eicosanoids are likely to be biologically significant to all animals. This book is a standard reference in my laboratory. I recommend it to students interested in invertebrate biology and scientists conducting research as well.

I found this book to be exceptional reading for parents like myself. Just what I needed as the mother of a daughter with cerebral palsy and I even shared it with some friends who didn't have special needs children, but who loved the book anyway! I even got my husband to read it and all he usually reads are books having to do with sports, but he loved it also--said that men could relate to the messages also. I look forward to reading more books from Ms. Stanley.
