I will be using this as a teaching guide for a thematic unit on weather.

I have seen an advance copy of the "The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide" by James Campiglia and Steve Wells and I was very impressed. I will only use this new book from now on.

If you are interested in Classical history and politics, you must read this book. I'm not sure how well Beesly's ideas have stood the test of time, but the book is worth reading for his prose alone. And his central idea-- that these three men have been misjudged by posterity because they had powerful and eloquent enemies-- is worth considering. I love this book and used it to enhance my teaching of the Catilinarian conspiracy.

This book is amazing. I had to buy it for a Child Psychology class and I ended up keeping it! There is so much amazing information in this book, starting at conception all the way to young adulthood. I suggest anyone about to start a family, with a family or just interested in child development, to buy this book!

This book was a gift from my parents and when I saw it Idecided it was DEFINETELY not worthwhile reading. Eventually, (3 years later,) my mom finally forced me to read it. REASON: It was hardcover ......(Well, that's what my mom said!) And when I read it, it was GREAT! I loved the way Cherry helped clear both David and Jep's names. I felt really sorry for Rudie, I mean his dad was just so horrible and I thought it was just so sweet when his mom came back. Dot was just plain cute, the way she pretended she was a mouse and her dad a prince. I'm glad David got the Head Resident's job becaus he seemed more serious about it. I thought it was sorta funny when Midge mixed up David and Alan.This also gives me a better perspective view of kids' sicknesses becaus if all the doctors and nurses are like Cherry Ames and the rest, (though I doubt it,) I'll have NOTHING to worry about! P.S. I'm sorry the last sentence sounds unbelievely dorky but I don't care, that's how I feel.(shrug) ..............

Karl Barth, many consider the most influential Protestant theologian, is often considered "Christocentric" though his work is not a system as much a complex matrix of thought built on a few theological premises. Spencer deals with Barth's ethics with a balance between "Divine action" and "human freedom" with a proper theological and scholarly description of the God-human relationship. This is a must read for any student of Barth!
