Ihis is an excellent review for professional use in sterile maggott therapy. Such sterile maggotts are available for debridement and regrowth of granulation tissues aiding healing of infected and dead tissue. It gives historical and current treatment information. Very good for all medical personnel treating dead / infected ulcers and other tissues.

My 7 year old daughter received this book for Christmas and what a wonderful book for any child who loves horses and stories about them.

This book breaks down the stories by country and describes in detail the history of the breed of horse specific to that region and the story. It is a wonderful blend of fact and folklore with gorgeous illustrations. The stories are rich in detail but are not "fairy tales" nor are they about unicorns or flying horses or other horse-like animals. They are folktales about horses with special wisdom or magical powers.

I'd say this book wouldn't hold the attention of a typical 5 year old. Some stories are 2 or 3 pages long with only small illustrations that might become dull for a younger child.

But if your child is a fan of folklore and/or horses, he or she will love this book!

Excellent book to help you hold onto your sanity while coping with caregiving. If you are a caregiver, you don't need to be depressed by another of the many serious books that are so hard to get through and make you cry. This one will make you smile when you need it most. Another really great book, filled with laughter of such a difficult subject is "Elder Rage."

"Make Any Divorce Better" gives a different perspective on divorce than most books currently available. Ed Sherman has a true understanding of the dynamics of divorce, and points out that ending a marriage is more than just a legal action. The "real" divorce involves disentangling yourself and your identity from your spouse (and this is where the real work begins). Luckily, you can avoid some of the emotional landmines that can result in a court battle by reading the helpful tips and strategies in this book.

For example, instead of automatically turning to a lawyer when you first consider divorce, Ed Sherman points out why it's best to analyze your situation and take things slowly. By trying to keep the divorce process as conflict-free as possible, most people are more satisfied with the outcome as compared to those who choose to battle it out in court.

The accompanying CD offers a lot of worksheets to help you gather information, develop a budget, and determine assets and debts. For potential custody battles, there is a childcare tasks worksheet to help show the degrees of parental involvement. You will also find a discharge of attorney form, sample settlement agreements, detailed and simple parenting plan agreements and worksheets, as well as child support guidelines and enforcement links. The post-divorce checklist will help jog your memory concerning of what needs to be taken care of after you get a divorce judgment. What is really nice about this CD is that you will be able to fill out the information and print out the worksheets for later reference.

While it would be nice if every divorce was amicable, "Make and Divorce Better" also give you strategies to help navigate divorce when faced with domestic abuse and high-conflict situations, as well as how to prepare yourself for a legal battle. This is definitely a book that I would recommend.

A book with excellent presentation, content and layout. Gets straight to the point. Demonstrates a formula to become memorable and also deals with issues that hinder. This book is a well hidden secret. Makes the book "Memorable" indeed.

In this compact book the stories of British lives in Palestine is told through their diaries and life experiences. This is not the story of war or occupation or colonialism or polemic we are used to but a poignant fair account of individual people trapped in a hard situation, living their everyday lives. We learn of the early mandate, of Zionism and anti-Semitism among the English officers and their wives. We learn about the riots, the various governors, the Palestinian revolt, the Jewish terrorism, the war years when Rommel seemed on the border of victory, all these things and more. An immensely fair account given the nature of the story and the subsequent controversy, this book, more than most, perhaps captures the truth behind `colonialism' it wasn't a racist terrible thing made up of brutal unfeeling people, rather the colonialists were everyday people concerned with themselves and the events around them and usually working to improve the lots of the country to which they had entrusted their lives. The mandate period is fascinating and this is a fair and just picture of it.

Sarton was a master of the art of letter-writing. The notes are useful, the editing is superb, and Sarton shines through as a rare, passionate, and exacting friend and lover. My only complaint is that this volume is "selected," not "complete." I'm looking forward to Susan Sherman's next presentation of the gentle art to which Sarton stayed dedicated throughout her life.

The series is well-researched and well-documented. It has an index which allows researchers to locate their family and gives the original source; it is best used in conjunction with "Vital Records of (town), Massachusetts to 1850."

i would love to read this book it looks very exciting! i have learned alot about the holocaust and i would like learn more! i am only a student in 8th grade but i feel sorry for all the people that had to suffer and if i could afford the book i would probley buy it but i am sorry i cant! so i guess then i cant enter for this but i just wanted to tell u how i thought! ~ thank-you

This is a very interesting tale, feels like you are there and a part of the adventure. Just the kind of book I love to read on my days off with a hot cup of tea and cookies. :}
