I love to cook and have an entire cupboard filled with cookbooks and recipe folders. This book is one of my all time favorites. The recipes are delicious: Honey Pecan Chicken Fingers, Bug Juice, Orange Tea Muffins, just to name a few. The delightful Pooh illustrations and little sayings complete this book, making it a joy for all ages. I highly recommend this book.

We bought these tapes in the 1980's when my oldest children were little boys. They listened to them then with pleasure, and I was completely enthralled on a different level. Now we listen to them still on our long road trips, and my sons are enjoying them now on the same level I enjoyed them as their young mom. Alan Bennett is a perfect and insightful interpreter of Pooh. These should be available on CD or as digital files. They will never go out of fashion, and the performance will not likely be surpassed.

This is a great story. There are great voices on the tape so if your not sure whether to buy it because of they voies don't worry. In this tape you will experince Pooh geeting honey with a balloon, Eyore having a birthday party, Piglet meeting a heffulump, and MUCH MUCH more!

My daughter loves this book! She is English/Spanish bilingual and laughs everytime we have read it together. Isabel Gortazar did a great job with the translation.

It is an outstanding translation to spanish. My children enjoylistening to what Porquete, Iiyoo and Puh have to say.

When Pumpkin looks up at me with his great, long-lashed eyes and says, "Again?" (Pumpkin is 14 months old), I am grateful for Tobias' wonderful book. This book stands up to repeated readings with grace and aplomb. (Good for adults as well as kids.) I'm a longstanding fan of Lisa,I'm proud to say that I own all three of her African Accent books.I also have made many of the projects that are in her books.Everyone of the projects that I made I'm quite sadisfied with the outcome.Her books give very easey instructions to follow and have fun makeing them.

We found this story in the library and my daughter didn't want to take it back! I do have to say that my DD (4yrs)is not the timid type to start, but boy did she get the idea of strength on the "inside" and she really loved the language used by the monster and later by Luisa ("I going to stomp you, to tromp you, to wallawalla whomp you!"). We read this every night at bedtime and never a fear or a nightmare. We loved it.

Jill Stover is a great author. Alamo across Texas is one of her masterpieces. A friedly little alligator goes in search of a new home,he travels all over Texas and see wonderful sights.

my four year old boy loves this book. the mother scolds the boy and sends him to bed until morning. bored, his bed becomes a flying bed and he goes on an adventure-saves a man in need, performs in the circus, and has "the best meal he"s ever had"--when he finds himself waking the next morning by his mother who apologizes for being cross with him. I like that the mother is remorsweful, and apologizes, and that his dreams are more interesting than any tv show he was banned from watching when sent to his room. It is fun, playful, and has simple, nice illustration.

I purchased this book for my six year old son who has recently has a peaked interest in the hebrew alphabet. It is a beautiful book and exactly what I wanted. I was simply looking for a aleph-bet book that had a picture page per letter but it wasn't so easy to find. Even our local Judaica shop carried nothing. I was so pleased to find this and even more excited to see the quality and adorable illustrations once it arrived. I highly recommend it.

What a shame this book is out of print. My 2 year old son loves this book.The illustrations are wonderfull the busy shoe shop and the cosy kitchen where Dad is making tea.
