Shaw Books

Robert Shaw's: "Reformed Faith: Expostition of the Westminster Confession of Fatith", is an excellent resouce for understanding the WCF. It is well written and organized bringing to bear many additional scriptures which further expound the given topics. The truth of the matter is that the Church of Jesus Christ must return to the old paths; that is, classic, foundational Christianity as commanded and taught by the Scriptures and as expounded by the WCF and other such reliable confessions. Shaw's work is an excellent resource to that end. I highly recommend it.

I use this guide while mentoring at the prison. It seems to work well there. The questions begin with the passage, and then are "open ended" to start a discussion.

Susan Shaw is an incredible talent. This book is gripping and haunting. It's reminiscent of the book SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson. Definitely a must-read for teens.

Mr. Shaw's postcard narrative of this historic city underscores the role San Bernardino played in shaping the Inland Empire. Beautiful postcards illustrate the founding, development of a town then showcase the transformation into a metropolitan. Mr. Shaw skillfully uses these photos to tell the story of the city, its building, festivals, and people. I strongly recommend this book.

Being born and raised in San Bernardino, Mr. Shaw's book is a fascinating look at the San Bernardino that my great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents knew. The book is full of priceless pictures that illustrate the development of a premiere fire department and a town into a city. My family recently gathered around the book oh-ing and awe-ing at pictures that spurred memories of days gone by. This is a book to be included in the library of every family in San Bernardino. Thank you Mr. Shaw for such a wonderful look at our town and our heros.

A beautifully researched, substantial bibliography. The summaries given for each entry are descriptive enough as to provide a fair amount of basic information. If you wish to get an insight of this little-known African country, make Shaw's book your starting point.

"Satin and Lace" is a real heartwarmer of a romance. At 100,000 words, it's a lovely big read, highly suited to curling up in bed, or sitting by a fire on a winter day. A romance that's neither fluffy nor heavy, with a range of appealing characters - laughter and heartache, pathos and a bliddfully happy ending. Hurrah for a hero and heroine who are *human*!

A must-read for anyone who likes an intelligent romance to make the reader smile.
