Tom Telford's heart for the church and missions is unparalleled. His insights and knowledge of what is happening TODAY in the church and what the church has to do to reach a lost and dying world for Jesus Christ are "RIGHT-ON".

This should be required reading in high school (or at SOME point in educational development). There's no morality in capitalism, and there's no underestimating the stranglehold Big Business has on "our" government. It's too bad Ralph Nader finally flipped out because his message is too important to be ignored.

This book is lovely. The photographs and the prose are so heartwarming! My son is grown now and has three sons of his own, and the book sits on my library shelf - I love to reach for it and look through it - because it always makes me feel so rich and blessed for having a son.

Ably written by Gregory L. Jantz (the founder and executive director of the mental health and chemical dependency treatment facility The Center for Counseling and Health Resources Inc.) with the assistance of Ann McMurry and featured an informative Foreword by Dr. Abram Hoffer, Moving Beyond Depression: A Whole-Person Approach To Healing is a powerful and effective self-help guide to the personal search for emotional equilibrium; rebuilding personal and familial relation-ships; identifying the physical causes of depression; renewing spiritual connections, and more. Focusing on the importance of looking at one's life as a whole in order to treat depression (including the emotional, environmental, relational, phy-sical, and spiritual factors involved in melancholia), Moving Beyond Depression is very highly recommended reading -- especially for those struggle with their own "dark nights of the soul".

This book is a must read for anyone who enjoys an interesting an exciting murder story. The book is about an aging, unsuccessful actor who exacts revenge on anyone who denigrates his abilities (including a former agent). Anyone who works or aspires to work in the entertainment industry should enjoy this book as much as diehard murder mystery fans will. One note of caution is that the book is written in British English and some of the British version of words may give American readers trouble.

A very amusing short play by Bernard Shaw first produced in 1914. Shaw, who liked to write long prefaces for his plays, did not write a long one for this one. He merely states it is not a serious play, and he places it in the category "Trifles and Tomfooleries". He explains it merely was written to exploit the talents of two talented pianists. One of the pianists is a male, and the other a female. Perhaps piano teachers would be interested purchasing this play, and having it performed by their pupils. It is not very long, only 16 pages.

We read this book after taking a vacation at the beach this summer and the kids love it. The illustrations are great, and it's even informative without being boring. Put this one on your bookshelf at home!

What a wonderful, charming, informative book! It's as if a very knowledgeable, old friend is chatting with you as you walk about the garden. It's not surprising that several other books about natural landscaping use this book as a reference and it doesn't matter where you live in order to find this book useful. Enjoy!
