MANY FORMER BROWNS LIKE OTTO GRAHAM, PAUL WARFIELD, AND JIM BROWN GIVE ENLIGHTNING INFO ON THESE SUBJECTS. I FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE VERY EASY TO READ AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT. RECOMMENDED FOR ALL BROWNS FANS FOR A QUICK AND NOSTALGIC TRIP THROUGH BROWNS HISTORY.

Delightfully written and charmingly illustrated by Ross Collins, Busy Night is a whimsical children's picturebook about a young boy whose attempts to sleep are disturbed by ghosts, the tooth fairy, the Sandman, Santa Claus, and just about every other scary or fantastic creature imaginable. Eventually he has to order them all away to enjoy his sleep, in this colorful story which is perfect for bedtime reading.

The most perfect book about butterflies in a specific region ever made! It contains the latest information about all butterflies in Canada and it is well illustrated with 32 great colour plates covering all species (I think). This is the only book you need about butterflies in Canada.

This book is the preferred one for teaching high level Calculus sequences at my college. In particular math 110a and 110b, this is NOT a reformed calculus textbook. It's a good, old traditional style text :) I like it.

At $42.00 this book should at least be hardcover! The overloaded student who has to pay for this tome should be sympathised with. A surefire cure for the insomniac, political science curriculum overviewers should find a different book with the same info. The book costs more than the course I'm taking and judging from the disbeleif on my fellow colleagues faces at the college bookstore, I'm not the only one with this complaint. All this aside, my teachers copy was very informative!!! PS can anyone lend me this book for nine weeks?

Simply written for budding paleontologists, this book explains the meaning of dinosaur names (for example, Tyrannosaurus rex means "king of the tyrant lizards"), as well as helps children (OK, and adults) with the pronunciation of these difficult dinosaur names. It poses questions, which are then answered on a child's level, and provides interesting tidbits of information, such as, the Ankylosaurus "was built like an army tank and was probably too tough to chew." Can You Say Dinosaur? is fairly easy to read, suitable for parent-child reading, teacher read aloud, or independent (grade 2+) reading.

I have read this book and have heard Rose Welsh speak. She has written a book that helps people diagnosed with cancer, and their families - find a direction when their lives have been placed in turmoil. As a nurse, I see how this book helps patients to communicate with their physician and to make informative choices for care and activities of daily living. I have given this book to MANY, MANY friends whose lives are affected by cancer. This book gives you information regarding how to LIVE with this diagnosis and not to be a victim.
