My sons are 8 and 10 and are into every Super Hero on the planet. Nightcrawler is no exception. According to my sons the comic
book was several stories in one, and was "pretty cool." I am 38 so I remember comics, and Nightcrawler, the Catholic Devil
like hero, was a pretty intersting hero for us altar boys. Besides its a comic book, kids are supposed to like them.

Let's keep this guy writing! Please, Mr. G y R, write a sequel! We have to find out what happens! I was just amazed at the
indomitable approach of the hero, Jake, a la Indiana Jones and James Bond, somehow logically working his way through all manner
of dreadful menace and emerging relatively unscathed. As usual, his super-devices from the far future are stripped from him
and his comrades and he has to rely mostly on wits, friendship, teamwork, and luck to best his merciless, arrogant foes. Along
the way he learns heart-rending lessons about life and love. The images of the Bronze Age are crisp, clear and cinematic,
like you're really there! The slow but sure revealing of details both expository and background is part of the winning charm
of this author's writing. The one-clause-at-a-time style is Saturday-afternoon updated Burroughs at its best.

I found the public address portion of this handbook the most complete and helpful of any in the largest technical book store
in Washington, DC. It discusses practical and theoretical aspects of public address system design. I finally "got" the Haas
effect.

I have a 7 year old sister who wanted me to read this book to her. I know she enjoyed it. It is about a boy named Rodney who
has a problem with his Auntie, Gloria. He thinks she is a witch. She is old, and she cackles the way a witch does. She owns
a cat. Some things she does are a little unusual. I am 12 and I found it highly amusing at times. I recommend this book
to anyone in need of a laugh.

THE AUTHOR DOES A VERY JOB DESCRIBING BABE'S ASSULT ON 60 HOMERS IN 1927. HE GIVES US MANY FACTS ON TEAMATES, PENNANT RACE,
AND BASEBALL IN GENERAL DURING THIS SEASON. ALSO SOME FACTS ON THE BABE'S LIFE ARE ALSO PRESENTED. MR ROBERTSON DOES A GREAT
JOB, AND THIS IS WELL WORTH READING BY HISTORIANS AND YANKEE FANS. THE ONLY REAL NEGATIVE IS I HAD HOPED IT CONTAINED SOME
PICS, BUT STILL HIGH QUALITY READING. VERY RECOMMENDED.

This book is broken down by album and then song and is filled with interesting facts and backstories to all of the Beatles
studio output.
Also includes info like who wrote what, band pictures, etc. The book itself is the same size as a CD case so it will sit nicley with your collection.
I was concerned it might be a bogus resource based on the asking price for but was pleasantly surprised at what an informative book it actually is. Recommended for those wanting more specific info on Beatles albums and individual songs.

If you are like me and are tired of hearing about how the majority of humans are headed straight for hell, this is the book
for you. It does one thing that most theologians have failed to do, make you look at the bible in a more reasonable and livable
way. not just a manual of instructuions on how to live as a so-called christian and ..woe betide if you dont do what it says!!
I have always been fascinated by the book of revelation and have felt it didnt make sense in the "death and destruction" terms
as most of us are made to believe by the church. After reading this book i have realised that there is more to christianity
than the usual pointing fingers at others and making them out to be the so called anti-christ!! What a relief it was to read
about a book based on the bible but interpreted in a Humane way minus the usual pulpit(hellfire and brimstone) attitude!

The report of a manipulative British woman utilizing the dark and violent traits in a young German to get rid of her parents
has everything the audience looks for in a good tabloid - only that Ken Englade's impeccable research puts it far above
tabloid level. As the story unfolds, Englade comforts the reader with a tasty mixture of necessary facts and those dark
and delicate little secrets of other people that we all like to read about. None of the main players' character traits evades
the author's watchful eye. As you proceed, you gain an almost intimate knowledge of them all. This is a book the typical
true crime reader will surely enjoy.

Past, Present and Future An Outback Adventure

My grandson and I found BoomeRangers, Dead Centre, to be a great outback adventure that inspires the imagination.
The endearing characterization of the desert animals who struggle against modern man and his destructive technologies lend a good guys and bad guys familiarity to the story. Andrew Page-Robertson captures the essence of the ancient aboriginal life and transcends the old and valued respect for animals in the old world to the modern world full of high technology and planet destroying weapons of war.
Perhaps the most telling of the talents of Page-Robertson is his uncanny use of rhyme. I found myself absorbed and believing in the adage and prophecy within the litany of this poetry.
The thirteen BoomeRangers are sent on a quest to seek the Promised Land outside the sanctuary of their cave dwellings. Boomer leads this diverse group of memorable Aussie animals. There's Marti, a young wallaby and Jacko, a comedic kookaburra. Billy-Jo Blake, is a big carpet python, Wozza, a burly wombat, Leena and Kulan, are the possum sisters, who along with Pinyali and Kaltee, large emus, and Bindar, Tarnda, Kurlo and Marlo set out on the "Quest".
Past, present, and future feature in this story that challenged my eight-year- old grandson into hearing more. In the past, occurred a great cataclysm; streams boiled to steam, black rain filling all creeks. This is the world the Rangers and their kind inherited that drove them inside the caves and whose quest is to journey out of the caves (that offer the only protection from a poisonous sun) to seek a better world in the Promised Land. They are up against Fril, a tall frill-neck lizard, the head of a rag tag mob of like-minded lizards with names like Gek and Karr. And this is just the beginning.
.
Aboriginal culture, desert animals, high tech gizmos, magic and special powers weave through this children's novel to make it a story for the young and the not so young. The quest for a better life in the "promised land" prompts the turning of pages to seek the outcome and Book One could indeed become the first of a best selling series.
