A great way for an individual or group of friends to explore paths to finding and experiencing God. Done in an engaging,
noncondemning way using movie clips, stories and thought provoking questions. I highly recommend this guide to anyone searching
for or interested in knowing more about God.

This is a delightful book. I think the copy I have is the Teachers Edition (not stated anywhere but it does have a Teaching
Suggestions chapter and complete details on playing games and activities). Based on the introduction I would guess this is
for 1st graders. However, in looking through it I would be surprised if most 1st graders could do everything in it. It covers
an enormous range of math subjects. For example: Measurement (inch, foot, yard, pint, quart, peck), Names and Symbols, Coins,
Counting, Counting by 2's and 3's, Grouping, Adding and Subtracting, Buying and Selling, Number Stories, Roman Numerals, Telling
Time, etc.
Additionally, it is illustrated by Frederick Richardson with pictures of kids playing, using math numbers, as you can tell from the pictures that Valerie added.
If you collect old math books you will want to add this one to your library!

I am so happy to have paid only $75 for this AMAZING book of the master of mastur. When it arrived, I ripped open the cardboard
Amazon shipper, hot acid juices roaring in my throat, my mind raced waiting to see the interior of a Terry book. His childhood
photos for petesake! The magician of weinered snapshots! I flipped thur the glorious pages for what seemed like an eternity
of....3 min. That was it...I was spent. I really recommend you buy 2 in case one explodes due to sheer creative energies colliding
with marxist ideals....heavy stuff.

George Boggs
"To God be the Glory" - this phrase guided George through his 34 years as a missionary pilot. Of his 12,000 hours of virtually accident free flying, 10,000 were devoted to Mision Aviation Fellowship's ministry and to pioneering in primitive countries where cannibalism was prevalent.
Combining his skill as a pilot, with his love of the Lord and of Mission Aviation, he was able to save thousands of lives in the name of Jesus, and help open The Gateway to the Jungle.

This book is a complete review of Geochemical pathways. The book is well organized and full of examples that you can review.
Unfortunately some questions do not have answers in the book, so it's better to review the full solved examples on each chapter.
I recommend this book extensively, because is part of the bibliography that was reviewed in my Geochemistry class during my time at the University.

I read this book back in the 70's while I was on a train going to New York City. It is the story of a black man who came
from poverty, a soldier, a junkie. The story takes you along for the ride from his childhood to manhood to a stint in the
army where he became addicted to heroin and was dishonorably discharged. At this point he felt his life was over and was
enshrouded in shame. After many stints at recovery (and this was long before "rehab"), finally one took and he literally
pulled himself up by his bootstraps and made something out of his life. The book is intense and depressing with a very uplifting
ending. George Richardson went on to become a political figure. This book takes you from the ghettos of New Jersey, to Korea,
to Los Angeles and finally back to New Jersey. This book instilled in me that you are more than your past, and your past
does not have to hinder or define your future.

An Australian Rebel

I remember reading this book as a teenager, and thinking, "Yes, I understand!" every time the heroine, Laura, found herself
at odds with the relentless conformity of school society. Set at a turn-of-the-century boarding school in Melbourne, Australia,
"the Getting of Wisdom" is a classic tale of a girl who thinks for herself and, thus, is forever out of step with both her
society and her classmates. Laura tries desperately to fit in, but never quite does. Still, in the end, the reader is
sure that Laura will be the one to soar high in life -- not her more conventional peers. As Richardson says, "She could
not know then, even for the squarest peg, the right hole may ultimately be found; seeming unfitness prove to be only another
aspect of a peculiar and special fitness." Almost 100 years old, the book's message is still fresh today, which is why
Richardson is considered one of Australia's greatest novelists.

Admittedly, this isn't quite my area of interest (being a guy and all that). However, as a gift, "Girls' Night In" s phenomenal.
My assistant LOVED the book (she's early 20s), as did my sister-in-law (who's 36 and lots of fun).
