If you are looking for technical details, armerment, or history of almost any known modern military vehicle, this is the book you want. This book has photos of these wepons of war in action. From Iowa Class battleships to hind helicopters to M1 tanks. A must get.

In this novel, Richardson presents the ideal male - the answer to what eighteenth century women and society (should) want. It is impossible not to be drawn to the character of Sir Charles and to root for the success of his affairs both worldly and personal.

What impressed me more than anything was the simple straight forward manner in which Richardson wrote this book.

Warfare and battle tatics simply defined and explained in a manner most historians should make note of. The author's passion shines through clearly and it's obvious his goal is to untangle the confusion and walk the reader step by step through the battles of the War of the Roses.

Simply put it skips the prattle and to quote Tolkien 'uses the common language' to get straight to the point. It cleary defines strategy, tatics, errors....and it is brilliant in its tone and wording whilst never 'dumbing' down. A short read, but a must read.

This little book is now a favorite of mine. The information is extremely useful and the tips/recipes are easy to implement (I have not tried any of the baby tips since I don't have a baby). The vinegar for the toilet bowl works so well and so does the baking soda paste for the stove top and fridge! Cleaning solutions in my house are now all 'green'. Plus, the book layout and colors are visually appealing.

I started reading the Horrid Henry series to my kids when we lived in England, and I am so pleased that it is available in the US and on Amazon. My two boys love this book and I have actually had tears running down my face and had to stop reading because of laughing so hard. My oldest son is re-reading all the books in this series on his own now and he still loves them. They are set in England, so the language is more British, but not so much as to be difficult to read or follow. Happy reading!

Martha Richardson has given her readers and listening audience a warm and wonderful glimpse of what it is like to experience life in a small Caribbean village. Her delightful cast of characters and sound effects are so convincing that one can almost feel the warmth of the sun and take in the delicious aromas surrounding this tale. The story is an inspiring account of how a family working together can truly make a difference in their world. The central character is a young boy whose imagination and determination motivates a family and an entire village to use their resources and give of themselves to "save the day" and restore joy after a crisis. A real treasure!

This is a brilliant book - funny, clear, interesting. It's packed with the history of time and physics, and explains quantum physics in a way anybody can understand. The inner workings of a black hole, what a wormhole is, and time travel paradoxes are all explained. The illustrations are great (and often very funny).I'd definitely recommend it for adults as well as children.

This is a great book, and not only for children ! I've personally enjoyed it as much as my 9-year old son...
