Mac/Eddy Today Magazines are the best information around on Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. Sharon Rich is a longtime researcher on the lives of these two great stars. You can be assured that what you read about them is true. The articles are great along with fabulous photos. What more do you need? Settle back with a cup of tea and be transported back to another era! Oh, and make sure you have on one of their great LP's to make the time perfect!

The Magic School Bus is a great bunch of books. We use them in our homeschool. We really miss the TV show. The books keep my childrens attention. Lots of great pictures and conversation of the students. I think they are very detailed.

"Making Poor Nations Rich" is a very good book. It consists of three main parts. The first part deals with institutions and entrepreneurship. The second part is about the importance of constrained entrepreneurship on economic development in Africa, Latin America, Scandinavia, and the transitional economies of the former USSR. The final part stresses the benefit of the reforms underlying the growth spurt in entrepreneurship in China and the Republic of Ireland, and the difficulties that challenge entrepreneurship in India, New Zealand, and Botswana.

If pressed to rank the sections of the book in descending order of their strengths, I would say: Foreword, Introduction, Part 1, Part 3, and Part 2. However, such an ordering is too subjective for a great book like this one. I give it 5-stars.

Children are introduced to 12 mammals through how they swim in water; with additional information on the animals in a section following the main text. On left-hand pages are realistic illustrations of the animals swimming or in their natural habitat near water. The right-hand pages have cartoon-like illustrations of the young boy asking the question about the animals while taking a bath and also illustrations of the different animals involved with the boy in the bath. The imaginative work for children ages 3-6 is an entertaining, humorous way for them to learn a little about a number of wild animals.

This book helped me understand the capabilities of the calculater much better than the manual. The examples were easy to follow and pointed out virtually every facet of the calculator. I highly recommend this to someone who wants to learn to use the TI-92 or TI-92+.

This beautifully printed volume belongs on your Hollywood shelf beside the works of Kobal, Trent & Lawton, Vieira, and anything else on or by George Hurrell. A brief 30-page recap of the history of still photography in the movie industry is followed by 255 pages showing examples of the work of 43 of the most notable stills men (including two women) who snapped the stars, scenes, and environment of the movies during their first 60 years. A brief chronology of the career (as far as it is known) of each photog is included. All the photos are given their best reproduction on heavy enameled (I believe that's the term) paper. It does make you wish more books containing work by Ted Allan, Bob Coburn, and other Hurrell contemporaries had been published.
