Brian Tracy is an excellent teacher and motivator. I particularly enjoyed, Getting Rich in America. In it you'll get invaluable methods to become wealthy in America. This audio program contains tapes of the following: Profile of the Wealthy, Becoming a Money Magnet, Starting from Scratch, How to Find a Product or Service, Unlocking your Creativity, Sales and Marketing Ideas, Follow the Leaders, Getting the Money You Need, Success Strategies in Real Estate, Investment Strategies, Leading the Field. In these cassettes you get a load of knowledge and motivation to succeed. It's just great material to listen to and follow. Brian Tracy has many other audio programs that are just as awesome as this one. I give this a five star rating because it defiantly will get you to being rich in America.
One of the best you will ever listen to.

Love the miniature quick-identification pictorial indexes! Would love a separate pocket book of all 3 volumes of these with a price for shopping. THE DEFINITIVE RESOURCE. Can't speak highly enough about the pictures, the completeness, and the detailed information. Even describes similar pieces that could cost you, and how to recognize them. One of best books in my 20 glass-book collection. Just great. As much as they knew they wrote in, a nice change from a rigid structure. THANK YOU, Tom Felt and Elaine & Rich Stoer! GET ALL VOLUMES.
p.s. The only other source of information you'll need is a guide to all the etchings that are available. They tell you what etchings are available on each candlestick, but don't always show a picture of each anywhere in series.

I have recently begun collecting glass with a particular affinity to candlesticks. This book has been a great help in identifying various pieces. The authors have grouped candlesticks according to the maker, and photographs and pictures abound. Not only do the authors describe the individual candlesticks, they point out similarities and differences between makers to ensure accurate identification. I am purchasing vol. 2 and look forward to the rest of the collection.

The social dynamics of women domestics in labour migration

Lan's work is groundbreaking in capturing for English-language audiences, many of the dynamics in Taiwan, that are reflective and symptomatic of global trends in the feminisation of labour and migration, in the tensions between newly-created pockets of relative wealth and poverty, and in the roles of women as employers and as transient foreign domestic workers. This book is recommended for all who are not domestic workers themselves who seek to understand the phenomenon, that Lan captures of their insights and experiences in this indepth ethnographic tour, of mobile women in segmented, classed and gendered global labour markets. Students in Women's Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Development, Law, etc. will benefit from her approach to the field and the ethics of such research that underscores the concerns (for development) in areas of welfare, rights, justice, legal systems, civil society, and so forth, especially in a globalised context.

The content of the book was based on a well planned large scale multi-years, multi-phase international sociology field and qualitative research (although the name suggested only limited to Taiwan)result. Not to deep dive at the research methodology details too much for the audiences, the author instead presented many and complex issues facing working women(in particular working abroad as doemstic helper in Taiwan, Hong Kong, singapore, Malaysia), in a well organized manner, to challenge and invoke audience's thoughts and feel about these issues.
Great details and insights on how these respectable women around the world, work, function, social and overcome the challenges. It is academic oriented, yet the author's writing and styl drive people's emotion. I will not be surprised if you found wetness at the edge of your eyes while you read the book You felt true respect for these hard working global cinderellas from Southeast Asia.
Recommended for sociology students, researchers, interest groups, NGOs and government policy makers who like to develop similar research framework, or use it as supporting reference data and arguments.

This brings together all the books I have ever read on wealth and makes sense of them all! NOW I understand!! This book is very straightforward and right to the point. It's not a religious book as such. It makes so much sense. Very inexpensive too, for what it is. I highly recommend it! I've heard about the universal laws it talks about before, but they never made sense to me before I read this book, now they do! There's no filler in this book, it is straight to the point, and I like the way it does set out how to become rich, step by step. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

God's Ultimate Task, Re-Creating the Universe in a Positive Dimension, is a uniquely written look at metaphysical implications of the Big Bang and the Big Crunch theories, along with the recently garnered scientific revelations that our universe wil not end with the Big Crunch. Author Rich Anders impressively attempts to portray how God the Almighty recreates the universe itself in a positive dimension in order to put its endless cycle of destruction to an end. The disjointed writing style employed by Anders embraces an eclectic spread of physicacal and spiritual principles, ultimately shedding an unforgettable viewpoint on the essence of God, the Devil, creation, and existence. God's Ultimate Task is recommended reading for students of religion, spirituality, cosmology, and metaphysics.

Volume 7 of the "Kingdom in the West: The Mormons and the American Frontier", Gold Rush Saints is an extensively researched history drawing heavily upon documents and primary sources to chronicle the role that Mormons played and the effect they had in California during the Gold Rush era. The text is scholarly in tone yet accessible to lay readers as it presents exciting stories of travel, cooperation, success, and destitution. Focusing especially upon influential and charismatic Mormon personalities, the hardships they endured and the legacies they contributed to, Gold Rush Saints is a welcome and seminal contribution to American and California history shelves.

From 1846-1857 Mormons shaped events in California: they were the first American settlers of San Francisco. Narrative history blends with documentary accounts on California Mormon history: first-person accounts of early pioneers provide new insights on gold rush history and experiences. Chapters survey social and political controversies of the time between Mormons and between Mormons and other groups, examine the roles they played in settling California and overcoming the state's isolation, and include insights from the pioneers themselves. An excellent addition to California history.

Rarely does a bed time story model healthy positive touch between father and daughter. The simple words of "The Goodnight Thing" are sweet holistic inspiration, spiritual and physical, between parent and child.
The sweeping, rollicking illustrations by Rosio-Sprague are worth the price of the book! These pictures both engage and soothe...a perfect bedtime balance.
Watch for for more from this up-and-coming illustrator!
Highly recommended. Especially for daughters and dads.

I was given a copy of this wonderul book, and just wanted to let others know. It's a wonderful bedtime book, where a parent can act out with their child what is in the book. As the father in the book says good night to each part of their child, the parent can do that in real life.
The illustrations, done in pastels on dark paper just pop off the page, and are incredibly drawn. This book would make a great gift for a new father.

The thirteenth volume in a series of impressive graphic novel anthologies drawn from classic stories and illustrated by various artists, Graphic Classics: Rafael Sabatini is a black-and-white compilation of tales of pirates, princesses, love, murder, hypnotism, extortion, and much more. The stories and their illustrators are "Captain Blood" by Carlo Vergara, "The Dream" by Rich Tommaso, "The Plague of Ghosts" by Gerry Alanguilan, "The Fool's Love Story" by Milton Knight, "The Spiritualist" by Roger Langridge, "The Valet Mystery" by Stanley Shaw, "The Risen Dead" by Jackie Smith, and a comic biography of Rafael Sabatini written by Mort Castle and illustrated by Kevin Atkinson. An eclectic range of tales with a common theme of excitement and intrigue, Graphic Classics: Rafael Sabatini is recommended as an introduction to Sabatini's timeless tales of high adventure.

I knew next to nothing about Rafael Sabatini before I picked up this latest volume of Graphic Classics. I always did love a good swashbuckler though, and I figured the creator of Captain Blood and Scaramouche was worth a look. Graphic Classics hasn't let me down yet, and this certainly won't be the last time they introduce me to a fantastic writer.
Remembered primarily for the slate of Errol Flynn films adapted from his works, such as "Captain Blood" and "The Sea Hawk," Sabatini is credited with the literary creation of the anti-hero, a rogue who's heroic nature is made heroic only by striving against those more villainous than himself. A host of pirates, charlatans and highway robbers manage to ingratiate themselves to the reader under Sabatini's guiding hand.
"Graphic Classics: Rafael Sabatini" is clearly a labor of love for editor Tom Pomplun, and he has put extra care into its quality. There is not a weak piece in this volume, and the artists are especially well-matched to the stories.
This volume contains:
"Captain Blood" - From a doctor, to a slave, to a free-booting pirate, Peter Blood's story is a bloody swath of adventure. Illustrated in a straight-forward but suitable style, Sabatini's most famous story comes dramatically to life. This one definitely makes me want to get the book and read the full story.
"Desperately Seeking Sabatini" - A hunt for the author, written by a college professor who wonders why Sabatini is not better remembered. Sabatini's story is an eye-opener. I had thought of him as a contemporary of Alexandre Dumas, not someone who was able to go see his own movies.
"The Valet Mystery" - A clever short story in the Sherlock Holmes vein, tense and with an interesting twist.
"The Spiritualist" - A comedic tale of a charlatan and the worlds beyond. Great illustrations to compliment the story.
"The Plague of Ghosts" - Another mystery, where a former con man hires his services to the police to uncover other con men. This time, a haunted castle and a bullet-proof ghost with a blazing skull. Classical art on this one really brings out the mystery.
"The Fool's Love Story" - Artist Milton Knight brings his personal flair to this story of the courage of ugly people, and how their love is no less powerful than the beautiful's.
"The Risen Dead" - A no-account rogue is finally brought to trial, although it is for a crime he didn't commit. A miracle grants him a second chance, but it is up to him to make something of it.
"The Dream" - An creepy tale of a mesmerist seeking to enforce his will upon a young lady of fortune. Her true love intervenes best he can, but the mesmerist's powers are strong.
