This title should read "Bundling: Its Origins, Progress, & Decline in America". The use of "Its" (without the apostrophe)
is correct here, since what is needed is the possessive form of the pronoun "It", NOT the contraction for "It is".
Hey, Amazon! Fix it: it makes you look stupid.

Button and Tiny is a very good book. Button and Tiny are mushrooms. They find something while working on their garden. Spud, someone
else from the Munch Bunch pulls it out, but he takes it away from Button and Tiny. Later, while running away from Button
and Tiny,he trips over Proffesor Peabody's feet, who gives the mushrooms back their thing, and finds another thing in their
garden that is connected to the first one.

This is an exceptional book written by a scholar who lives in Cahokia and has devoted her life to the village as a resident,
librarian, and mayor. Cahokia, Illinois, is rich in history and continues to be a thriving community. Cahokia was settled
in 1699, making it one of America's oldest. History buffs and trivia buffs as well as anyone looking for something new and
different will find this illustraton-packed book fascinating!

This was an excellent book for a couple reasons. The author explains the different forms of channeling, giving exercises on
developing those abilities, and, more importantly, he explains why Mr. Cayce chose to become one with his "Higher Self" in
order to become more attuned to those who sought his assistance, rather than channeling other entities. The author also gives
many examples from his own life of various means of channeling, or connecting with other realms----both within and without.
This is definitely a worthwhile book....And I have read over 400 books in the spiritual/metaphysical category.

This is a very good book for radiologists, residents and medical students with an interest in radiology. The chapters are
organized by findings such as pleural calcifications, rather than anatomy such as the pleural space. I find this more in
line with how a radiologist/resident thinks. There are "pre-tests" at the begining of each chapter, excellent tables, and
post chapter "pearls" that help for comprehension. At the end of the chapters are typical radiographs that show the disease
topics. The discussion in the chapters helps you narrow your differential with identification of key secondary findings.
This book should be read before the oral exam at least once.

I actually have not read the book. However, from viewing the 1st part of Anne Thurston's series on C-SPAN, I found her to
be very objective and knowledgable about China. She has traveled to many parts of the China and has got first hand experience
with the real people in China. Although this book may be a little dated considering the rapid changes happening in China,
I am sure you would benefit from having this book if you have never been to China before.

Introduction for Tennessee Reed's appearance
at the WordTemple Poetry Series
Santa Rosa, California
February 9, 2007
When asked, I've told people that I began writing poetry as a young girl; that I would sew my poems into small books with colored yarn and then stash them under my bed. When I left home as an adult at age 17, I threw the poems away. So right away, I'm jealous of Tennessee Reed. She kept her poems.
Tennessee Reed has written five books of poetry since she first began writing at five-years old including Circus in the Sky, written when she was 11-years old, Electric Chocolate, written between the ages of 11 and 13, Airborne, written from ages 13 to 19, and two books that are combined in the book she has here tonight, City Beautiful and Animals & Others. These poems were written from her junior year in college into 2006.
Composers Meredith Monk and Carman Moore set Tennessee Reed's poetry to music for "Face the Music," a live performance work by The Children's Troupe of Roberts + Blank that premiered in Oakland's East Bay Dance Festival. Ms. Reed has given poetry readings from the Netherlands to Japan, from Germany to Hawaii, and throughout the United States. She is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and Mills College.
Tennessee Reed's poems often appear to be just straight-out narrative reporting. This is what I saw. This is what I heard. But when you put those experiences together, a new unsaid experience is created; this is where the magic happens. The gold leafed dome of a city hall + homeless human beings equals what? Two news anchors dubbed "Barbie" and "Ken" give warnings about "American black bears." On the surface, it all seems innocent enough. But read the quote by the park ranger and you'll know this poem has a lot more to say than something about hungry, delinquent bears in Yosemite and, indeed, about the media machine itself.
By the time you finish reading City Beautiful, you come away feeling close, somehow, to Tennessee Reed, she has shared so much about herself and how she sees, hears and investigates this world. There is no hesitation. The opening poem of City Beautiful, "Choosing Sides," lets us in immediately, and there we stay.
Please welcome Tennessee Reed.

She fought her disease 'til the end but eventually she lost the battle. She really put her heart into this book. Read it to see what an incredible woman my sister was. I hope that it will give strength to others fighting this disease (or to others with family members fighting it).
Karina I'll miss you.
