My 3.5yo DS and I live the story line of this book every day. In that, this book is wonderful, as it's reassuring to be reminded of the humor of our situation. [Gritting teeth.] Great illustrations: clear, bright colors with enough white space to avoid overwhelming and keep the focus on the action.

So, a brilliant artist, Ms. Anne Perry, one of the greatest bestselling authors of all time - is a most humble, thoughtful, and generous soul. Buy the book like I did. You just might agree...it is priceless.

Reading this story is like listening to George Beverly Shea singing "How Great Thou Art" -- the message is simple and stunning, and it reduces me to tears of joy.

This book is a sensitive and beautiful collaboration. Beattie's text subtly and beatifully illuminates and opens our eyes to Perry's vision. His paintings are masterfully realized and at the same time wonderfully insightful.

If you ever want to send or say some beautiful words to a friend (or friends) in love then this book is a must. It has some of the most sensuous and sensitive poetry I've ever had to read at a wedding ceremony. [I am a celebrant in Australia and I get to read a lot of poetry.] It is ideal for weddings and ceremonies for to-day's couples (some of the poetry may not be suitable to read in Churches - so read them outside!!). It's delicious and delightful. It will touch your soul and your deep longings and memories.

This book is a pretty good look back at one of the first successful light tanks in the army's inventory.
Having supplanted the M3-M5 Stuart series, this little tank proved reliable and was well liked by the troops during WW2 (entering service late 1944). It was outclassed in the Korean War, but still saw military service all the way through Vietnam, providing security at Tan Son Nhut airbase.
And like all Squadron books, this volume includes ALL the variants of the vehicle, as well as a full page of color reference illustrations OF those variants. Jim Mesko does a commendable job once again.
It's interesting to not that this tank is STILL in service in foreign nations (with significant upgrades), so it goes to show that you just can't keep some "old dogs" down.
I would shop around, because you CAN get this at a lower price (price listed is retail).
If you're an armor enthusiast, or even a serious modeler, this small but comprehensive book is definitely a "keeper"

I purchased this book a couple of years ago. The author did a great job of wetting the appetite of an admirer of Madame Walker. The pictures were great and I look forward to passing it down to my children. The only downside to the book was that it didn't give any info as to what happened to the business after Madame Walker passed on and what happened to the grand daughter of Madame Walker. Madame Walker is an inspiration to me and was a remarkable woman.
