And Grace Will Lead Me Home is the title of a book of pictures and accompanying essays on the subject of the Prodigal Son.

The book begins with a synopsis of how the Jerry Evenrud Collection came to be, and how it came to its present home at Luther Seminary.

-- You are then reintroduced to the Parable of the Prodigal Son through a delightful essay by Sarah Henrich.

-- Wilson Yates talks about the parable in art and culture.

-- The majority of the book is the images themselves with essays by Robert M. Brusic.

The works of art span almost five centuries of art history and come from cultures around the world. Brusic comments on them with readable and interesting writing. He helps the reader to see with new eyes both the story and the art that celebrates it. I found that there was very little repetition in the author's essays, but each is a compete gem in itself. The book concludes with a taste of some of the other references to the Prodigal Son in music, writing and sculpture.

This book is a delight to the eye and the mind. It will be a great addition to anyone's collection. The images are varied and challenging; the essays are educated without being heavy or preachy. The only drawback was that I was left with a desire to see more of the collection than could possibly be fitted between the covers of a book.

Armchair Interviews says: A whole new "take" on the Prodigal Son.

This Book Talks about Anne Bailey's life. This really fantastic book would tell you about Anne Bailey's fantastic poems. This book is in order and the story talk's about when Anne Bailey was a little baby. Anne Bailey was interested in the early history.
We don't know when Anne Bailey was born but we do no the year she was born which is 1742.
The most interesting thing I read in this story was Anne Bailey's fantastic poems. The best part was when she wrote " All Day she braved the forest dark, at night her bed the branches stark, Nor quailed at e'en the wolf's wild bark."
I think students and teachers should read this book because Anne Bailey's poems are so fantastic.

This book is definitely one of my favorite books on applied statistics. I have read it a couple of times now and it's just a hell of a great textbook. It illustrates general principles by example and is written very clear so that it is also accessible to non-mathematicians.
I might even buy the second edition that's coming up...

Rave of Aquarius!

Finally, a sensible and thought-provoking guide to using David Palladini's still-sensational Aquarian Tarot Deck originally released in 1970. This was the first Tarot I encountered and the one that sparks my intuitive side most dynamically. Until this time, the only book to devote itself completely to this particular deck was "The Windows of Tarot" (1973) by F.D. Graves. While colorfully written, that work simply did not journey deep enough into Palladini's amazing imagery. But author Craig Junjulas, a noted psychic consultant and spiritual educator, has changed all of that with this fine work. His "Psychic Tarot" not only provides eloquent, depth interpretations for each card, but prepares the reader by offering excellent techniques to boost intuition. There is also the addition of an extremely helpful Appendix that includes a wealth of information to expand the cards' meanings even further. Highly recommended! -Michael Orlando Yaccarino, Certified Professional Tarot Reader

... This will be your bible if you, like me, are studying water chemistry. Stumm and Morgan made a compendium of water chemistry, useful, easy, and full of real examples reviewed in detail. Each time I need to find a formula, a factor or constant, or just a quick look for a doubt, the first book I always took is this one. I truly recommend you this book.
