I ran in to this book completely by accident. Then, seeing the author's name, I immediately ordered it, and read the book
at one sitting. I was a frequent weekly, weekend, and day visitor to the Moores at 1611 Wallace Street in Philadelphia during
the mid 80's. The author is truly an amazing woman, and I always felt that about her. Naturally, I learned of many unhappy
moments, years, and incidents, of which I was not aware, which put many other things into perspective for me. The chapters
are short, readable, and at times very amusing, as Marcy literally takes the reader around the world. I would recommend this
book highly, as it is thoroughly enjoyable; and also very sad as well, learning of what she had to deal with.

A 'must have' for all Reiki Masters. At last a manual that not only has excellent content, but one that also looks professional.
I have all the manuals in this series and have yet to find any other that could offer itself as a replacement. Buy all the series for an excellent course of materials for your students.

In this youthful - slightly impetuous - masterwork, Richard Norton-Taylor aspires to be the Tom Paine of his time; but he
is somewhat more indebted to his long experience of espionage.

This book by F.C.T. Moore provides a valid and worth while engagment of the
philosophy of one of France's most important philosophers. Bergson's theories of
space and time "Duree", were vital in Futurist thinking and provided a grounding for
their initial, and some may argue best work.
F.C.T Moore presents Bergsons philosophy in a practical and
systematic manner, easily understood and comperhensive.
This is a good book.

Kenny Moore is the real deal. Fourth in the Munich Olympic marathon doesn't happen by accident. This is a collection of
pieces about various elite athletes Moore has met over the years.
Moore's insights are fascinating. "Best Efforts" gives you a glimpse of the minds of the elites. The piece on Ron Clarke, who would always take the race out hard because he thought it was dishonest to do anything else, is especially intriguing. I also enjoyed the articles on Mary Decker, the Experiment, and John Akii-Bua. Moore's writing about his own life experiences as a child, training under Bowerman and alongside Pre, and then in the Olympics, is equally enthralling.

The Devouring Desire

The classic early SF/fantasy tales by Catherine Moore were so far ahead of their time that the extent of her influence is
mind-boggling. In fact, many modern authors may consider themselves heavily influenced by other authors who were themselves
heavily influenced by Moore. The short stories collected here are all from the 1930s and 1940s, and you can easily see Moore's
insistent influence on vast realms of fantastic fiction. The stupendous "Shambleau," dealing with a bizarre alien predator
that oozes terrifying sexual tension, broke so much new ground in science fiction, horror, and goth that the reader will be
astounded to learn that it's from 1933. A year later Moore probably invented the fantasy femme fatale in "Black God's Kiss,"
featuring the amazingly butt-kicking (for 1934) heroine Jirel of Joiry, who hates her male oppressor so much that she recruits
the very forces of hell to taste revenge. Moore may have also invented the cyborg (and a female one, no less) in "No Woman
Born," while three different tales here make early inroads into the unknown horrors of time travel, most notably "Greater
than Gods" in which a man learns that both of the paths he may take in an important life decision will lead to the downfall
of humanity. The late Catherine Moore deserves vast appreciation and respect from historically-minded readers in several different
genres of fantastic fiction. This enthralling collection shows why - relentlessly. [~doomsdayer520~]

The Truth of America's Foundation

I highly recommend this set for an in-depth look at what is truly the foundation of our country. Christian men with vision,
Godly character and education, reveal the truths of our Constitution, our system of government, and the true source of all
legitimate authority in this (or any other) nation. Real law cannot be based on the passing whims of men, but must be based
on the ever solid Word of Almighty God, because God is the source of real law and real authority. Anything short of this
comes only from man's passing fancy of right and wrong and puts us on the highway to tyranny. Find out how America is truly
a Christian nation - not because the majority of our citizens claim Christianity - but because our whole system of law and
government was built on God's law and God's authority. Oh by the way, these principles were not dreamed up in 1776, but were
the result of centuries of God working providentially in the lives of His people to bring them to the place to form this country.
If you are at all interested in where we came from as a nation and where we are going, you need this set. I am not a real legal/political kind of guy but I am moved by the legitimacy of going back and taking a common sense look at the great documents of our history and see what they meant and how they have been ignored for years to get us into the mess we're in today.
I highly recommend this set.

The author focuses on how words both help and hinder the exploration of truth and lies. The book's theme is the manner in which choices made by the characters in the face of the challenging circumstances of fate leads to their destinies. The plot winds through a web of conflicts, secrets, lies, sins, and desires.
The story spans about three decades years of the protagonist's life, as he deals with terror and its consequences in his quest to overcome them. The last part of the story involves a war in New England that occurred a century before the American Revolution, the details of which are not well known to many Americans.
I greatly enjoyed reading this book.
