Intricate Collection Book I blends poems from all themes e.g. Supernatural, Love, Tributes, and so forth into one excellent volume. Reading this book really made me feel what the writer felt as he was writing it. Some like "The Child Wihin" brought back delighful memories of my own child. That poem in fact remains dear to my heart. Still others were very humorous, and some even scary. I liked this work a lot and recommend it to everyone with an eye for true art. It's worth every penny!

Introducing books are my secret indulgence. Of course I read books that don't have pictures (Alice (of Wonderland fame) would find that dull), but these books give you a quick introduction into subjects you may not want to take time to read a 500 page book about. (I know: A preposition is a word you should never end a sentence with.)

Introducing the Englightement is one of the most interesting of these - and I strongly recommend reading Introducing Empirisism immediately after it - because it brings a number of thinkers together and shows their influence on each other - whether they championed or opposed them -in ways not brought out in school or anywhere else I've come across. I was surprised at a number of such links in this particular book (I am not a professional philosopher though).

It's hard to tire of the format - though at times you wish they would tell you more - but there is a list of books for further reading - though sometimes the books are British and I think we have just a good publications here in the Colonies. I've read a number of books in this series and have several (including Introducing Existenialism) for future reading, but this book is seminal - it may cause you to read a number of the others - or even to pull that 500 page tome off the shelf!

this introduction is not a book with views of (modern) scientists about ancient philosophy, but gives the relevant texts from the ancient philosophers themselves. The choice of the texts is excellent and i will use this book for my introductory course on ancient philosophy at my University.

This seller is the best! The address given was wrong but the seller was thoughtful enought to notify me. I sent the correct address and asked to be told of additional postage. Text relates the geographical, cultural and historical evidence present in the photos and words of the people. This history is only being preserved in words and song of the people. Read about the 'Shark Lady', the Bush Medicine man and other friendly faces from exotic places like 'Crooked Island', 'Great Exuma' and 'Farmers Cay'.

I recently read this book and believe that everyone should read it; not just those who are battling breast cancer. This book allows you to see that you can survive, and that laughter really is the best medicine. I have had the privilege of knowing Michelle Lloyd and her fight against breast cancer. I have always looked at her as a role model, I wanted to be just like her. She convinced me to get a back surgery I needed, a surgery I was scared to death to have. Today I not only see her as a role model, but as an inspiration. She fought through advanced breast cancer and lives her life in a way everyone should. I truly believe that reading this book will give you the courage to fight; it will show you how to find the humor in it all, the humor in healing.

the book was amazing i love the pictures of all the baskets and I'm still looking through it. the book got here quick and it was in the condition that they said it would be.
