Got this book as a gift for my sister, she really found it to be very informative and interesting. It has a section of color photos of different types of drugs, and in depth looks at what they all do to you.
If you know someone who uses and want a friendly way to tell them it might not be the best idea, this is a great book!
My sisters friend was looking at it too and said he had learned so much in just the 10 minutes he had looked at it!

This is a book that takes the right approach to drug education. It certainly isn't the naive rhetoric of the "Just Say No" campaign nor does it romanticize drug use or downplay the potential dangers. Instead it provides a wealth of useful factful information that is based on scientific research but is still accessible to the average reader.

The book is divided into sections based on the various classes of drugs - hallucinogens, opiates, stimulants, etc. Just about every drug, both legal and illegal,is covered, with extra attention paid to those most widely consumed, such as alcohol and marijuana.

The writers here tell it like it is and, overall, do an outstanding job. I would have preferred slightly more attention devoted to explaining the actual effects, both positive and negative, of each individual drug (ie) how it feels to "get high". Some people may see this as promoting drug use. But the truth is that "getting high" can make you feel really low. For example, smoking pot can, for some people, cause intense feelings of anxiety very similar to what people with clinical anxiety experience. Can smoking pot lead to clinical anxiety later in life? The truth is that the medical community is, to the best of my knowledge, still out on this question. In fact, far too little is known about all illegal drugs because the government, in its ignorance, makes it extremely difficult for scientists to study them. But exploring the effects of specific drugs on brain chemistry is where this book excels. The three primary writers are professors at Duke University Medical Center and so are clearly well qualified to write on the subject.

This book should be required reading for all high schools students and I would recommended it to just about anyone working in the field or interested in the topic. Knowledge is power and this book provides a great education.

I love this book because it's the first I have read that JUST gives the facts. Good or bad, the writers speak from a scientific perspective rather than what the media tries to feed the public. It's refreshing and I can trust that there is no hidden agenda here.

This book is part of the Wolf Breed series which is an offshoot of the Feline Breeds series. The Genetics Council used genetic experimentation to create humans with animal DNA, called Breeds. The Breeds were tortured, experimented upon and kept in captivity, but eventually escaped. The Council and other groups are trying to capture and/or kill them.

Dash is part wolf. He has spent twelve years in the army and Special Forces. Cassie selects his name as part of a school project to write letters to men in the services. They become pen pals. When he realizes that Cassie and her mother Elizabeth are in danger and living on the run, he takes a leave from the service to help them.

I recently read Death Angel by Linda Howard. It gave an excellent description of how Drea was on the run from bad guys. The author described many smart things that she did to survive, and many smart things that Simon did to find her. In Wolf Breeds, Elizabeth has been on the run for two years from bad guys. Dash has been searching for her for six months because he wants to help. The author doesn't tell me how the bad guys keep finding her or how Dash found her. I would have liked that, but I realize this is supposed to be more about erotic sex than a typical romantic suspense novel. However, I think it would have been easy to add a little more plot development and take away some of the "ponderings in the mind about what to do" that Elizabeth does early in the story and Dash does later in the story.

The first part of the story was better than the last part. The first part was meeting, finding, protecting, being on the run and developing a relationship. The last part was preparing and planning to get the bad guy.

There were fewer sex scenes than I expected, but they lasted several pages. There was a thread of anger or roughness to them. Since he is a Breed, Dash has a couple of physical differences from human males that occur during sex.

CAUTION SPOILER:
I was surprised and enjoyed Dash borrowing a military Hummer with night vision to travel with Elizabeth during a snow storm.

Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes six, some several pages long. Setting: current day U.S. Copyright 2004. Genre: erotic paranormal romance.

For a listing of my reviews of other Lora Leigh books, see my 4 star review of "Tempting the Beast" posted on 6/30/08.

I am a sucker for the breeds series but particularly if it involves a child. All my protectiveness comes out as does Wolfe's. This is a man who as tries not to make friends. He considers himself a loner little does he know that all those acts of kindness has not gone unnoticed. He will need all those friends and allies to save Elizabeth and her daughter from the experimentation of the evil genetics' council. They are the ones that think of breeds as not human but animals. It was another great read. This story is a continuation of the breed series. Everyone has a preconceived notion of the coyote breeds, they are the merciless hunters used by the genetics council. This is not the case with Kiowa. He has been asked to keep an eye on the president's daughter. He is certainly unsuspecting that this is his mate. What follows is fast paced and riveting, as he tries to keep her safe from those who would kidnap her. Yes, anything that would keep a bill from passing that makes the breeds responsible for their own future.

I don't know how many times I've read this over the years and thoroughly enjoyed each read. I'm re-reading it again just now!

I have read most of Ms Sayers's Lord Peter Wimsey output and consider this book to be one of her best. It's great fun when you know the book spotting the clues she drops in front of you and seeing how the author reaches the conclusion. It does have its dark side - this is one of the first detective novels surrounding the drug scene - and while certainly there are improbabilities the quality of the writing and the integrity of the book within itself outweigh these.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes a really good detective story and enjoys working out the solution as they go. Unlike one or two other authors of the same period who always seem to select the least likely character and then make the story fit however unlikely, Dorothy L Sayers gives you all the clues so it's possible to work out whodunnit just by reading the story carefully.

When a young advertising copywriter tumbles down a steep flight of stairs, the coroner deems his death an unfortunate accident. Mr. Pym, of Pym's Publicity, suspects otherwise, and calls in Lord Peter Wimsey to investigate the case undercover as his badly-behaved "cousin," Mr. Death Bredon. It turns out that the death of the copywriter is only a small part of the mystery, as Wimsey finds himself embroiled in the complicated machinations of a cocaine smuggling ring. What does Pym's Publicity have to do with it all?

Dorothy Sayers really hit her stride in this mystery; she worked at an advertising agency at one point, so she knows her setting well, and it shows (Sayers even goes into what copy is acceptable and unacceptable in terms of legal repercussions). There are quite a few characters to keep track of, and it's nearly impossible for the reader to figure out who's behind it all. There's a lot more to this book than advertising and cocaine--there's also a few wanton women and some blackmail to spice things up a bit. The characters are witty, varied, and memorable, and the plot doesn't overwhelm. Definitely a great place to start reading Sayers's work if you haven't read her work before.

Good, but lacks "atmosphere"

I don't know where Dorothy L. Sayers got the idea for this one but I do consider it one of her lesser works. It probably had notably more positive impact in England, during the period in which it was written, where Lord Peter Wimsey getting a "regular job" would have been a real knee-slapper. Still, the mystery itself is well-written. If you can live without spooky houses, murder on the moors, and those sorts of cool English cliches, this one will probably work for you. Otherwise, read Sayers' "Unnatural Death."

Like PG Wodehouse or the early Agatha Christie, this offers a window on a bygone British world (perhaps largely fictitious even then) in which every class had its place and its peculiar argot, and true noblesse oblige consisted in the ability to transcend such differences. At least this is one of the most likeable characteristics of the detective hero Lord Peter Wimsey, temporarily working under a pseudonym at a London advertising agency. This allows for an amusing send-up of the publicity business, at a time when success was measured by the ability to coin a catchy jingle. But you do need to be a Brit or a dyed-in-the-wool Anglophile to make much of it; the climax, for instance, depends on the detailed description of a cricket match. And as a mystery, this is one of Sayers' least successful, with the suspects insufficiently distinguished from one another, and the ending much less of a surprise than it ought to be.

After reading quite a few books on biblical femininity, Feminine Appeal is the best I have ever encountered. Mahaney faithfully explained what real Godly womanhood is and supported every major point with multiple, soundly-interpreted Words of God. As opposed to some other books that incorporates the cultural image of housewives, Mahaney actually focused on the Truth, and not on her own convictions. I highly recommend this book for women who wishes to grow in Godliness.

Yesterday I finished Feminine Appeal, by Carolyn Mahaney. This is an easy-to-read practical study of the seven virtues spelled out in Titus 2:3-5. This part in the foreword grabbed my attention, "If you are a `younger woman', you hold in your hands a mentor, an excellent guide to spiritual maturity." From this perspective I was excited as I continued to read because I often long to sit at the feet of an older women who I can respect and follow in life with the Lord. This book proves to be a good "mentor" as Mahaney takes an in-depth look at loving one's husband, loving one's children, self-control, purity, working at home, kindness and submission.

She made a particular point in an illustration toward the end of the book that really stuck with me:

______________________________________________________________

If we hold out a soaking wet sponge and squeeze it,
what will happen? Water will fall onto the floor. We
may look at the puddle and think it was caused by the
squeeze. However, the squeeze only revealed what was
already in the sponge. You could squeeze a dry sponge,
but no water would come out.As with the sponge, what is in our hearts will spill out of us when the squeeze is on. In other words, difficult interactions or trying experiences are not the cause of our reactions;
rather they serve to reveal the sin that was there all along.
Matthew 15:18 says that "what comes out of the mouth
proceeds from the heart."
______________________________________________________________

This is an excellent book for wives to read, as it addresses the matters of marriage and home. However, I think that a single woman could also glean a great deal from its pages as the exhortation from Titus 2 is for all women so that in everything we may "adorn the doctrine of God our Savior." (Titus 2:10)

Mahaney makes this point of adorning the gospel with our lives several times. She says that our conduct has a direct influence on how people who know us and watch us will think about the gospel. "Make no mistake, by adorning the gospel, we are not enhancing or improving it" but cultivating these qualities will show "the transforming effect of the gospel in the lives of women-women who have turned from their sins and trusted the Savior, women whose sins have been forgiven and whose hearts have been changed."

Soul Deep is nothing new. It has the same basic formula as all the breed books, but this coyote breed had more depth of character than some of the wolf breeds that I wasn't very fond of.

It does have one of the hottest first lovescenes that I have ever read, though. My goodness!!! This book is definitely worth reading, if you like Lora Leigh, but just be warned that it is a very short book.

Strong Poison

Alas, I was rather disappointed in Strong Poison. True, it addressed one of the complaints I had early on in the series and featured loads of personal drama for the investigators. I liked the turn Peter took here--in love and accepting rejection with grace and angst--and I liked Harriet, too, though there wasn't enough of her. Miss Climpson and another enterprising spinster were also entertaining and made valuable contributions to the case.

But! I just about tore my hair out when Sayers reused one of her favorite plot devices AGAIN--a will. There was a twist involved that made it slightly different than a matter of mere inheritance, but just once, I'd like to read a Sayers book that mentions neither a testatrix nor a legatee! There was also a certain clue that, by the randomness of its inclusion, enabled me to immediately guess the method in which the arsenic was administered.

Despite not being everything I'd hoped for, it was still probably the best of the Sayers so far.

Guilty Until Proven Innocent

Review Date: 2007-06-22
Dorothy L. Sayers created perhaps one of the most iconic of all detectives when she fashioned Lord Peter Wimsey. At first impression, Wimsey seems to be a lot of piffle, dressed to the nines, and overly confident in his intelligence. Yet there is something intriguing about his character and his buffonery that makes readers laugh at his expressions and marvel at his exploits. Such is the case with "Strong Poison", the book that introduced Lord Peter Wimsey to Harriet Vane.

The reader is immediately drawn into the story through a recounting of the evidence against Harriet Vane; she is on trail for murdering her lover with arsenic. The case against her seems airtight, and it isn't helpful that she was writing a mystery concerning arsenic poisoning, but Wimsey is convinced of her innocence, and is just as convinced of making her his wife. When the jury can come to no verdict, the defense has one month before Vane will be retried. Wimsey takes it upon himself, with a colorful cast of helpers, to make sure he clears Harriet's name and finds out who the real murderer is.

"Strong Poison" is a quick-paced read with ingenious plotting to the central mystery that is baffling to the readers. Although one can only handle so much of Lord Peter Wimsey at one time, the story clips along even with a wide array of characters and a plot that includes sleuthing, religious fanaticism, lessons in lock picking and spiritualistic shennanigans. All of these strange occurrences brew together to create a truly unique mystery. While Dorothy L. Sayers' writing can seem dated, since this novel was originally published in 1930 and the expressions that are used are not in modern usage, her stories have stood the test of time, and will continue to do so.

It's nice to see Sayers's unflappable and delightfully conceited Wimsey suffer from the disabling effects of self-doubt in this one. As opposed to his traditional dilettante approach to crime solving, there is something on the line here. Wimsey's in love and his new found love is in line for the gallows. Sayers aristocrat superman has fallen for murder suspect, Harriet Vane, and he is in a race against time to find the actual killer and while the solving of the case is far too dependent on Wimsey's use of intermediaries, there is a satisfying conclusion and a more human Lord Peter for the reader's enjoyment.

Peter meets Harriet - but still not one of Sayers's best books

Review Date: 2006-08-31
This was the first Peter Wimsey mystery that I didn't find totally satisfying. I had really high hopes; I couldn't wait to find out how Peter and Harriet met, and why Peter fell in love with her.

It starts off promisingly enough - the judge is summarizing the case against Harriet for the jury, who are about to start their deliberations. It's a pretty strong case; Harriet's former lover died of arsenic poisoning, and Harriet had been buying arsenic for research purposes.

Now, first of all, it was really easy to figure out who the real murderer was. Normally Sayers keeps me guessing much longer than she did here.

Second of all, Peter does almost nothing from beginning to end. Miss Climpson and her staff do all the actual detecting - Peter mostly flops around feeling a little useless because love for Harriet has impaired his judgement.

Third of all, Peter is already in love with Harriet as the book begins. Not only do we not see him actually falling in love, the first thing he ever says to her is to ask her to marry him. This is romantic and all, but what makes Peter and Harriet's relationship so magical to me, at least, is their repartee - they're so well matched in wit, sensibility, and principle. I thought something more mature than love at first sight would bring them together.

There's a little bit of a twist - but I guessed it around the same time as I guessed the murderer, which is to say pretty early on.

I still enjoyed Strong Poison, quite a bit, but Sayers has done better.

No one knows more about poisons than crime fiction writer Harriet Vane, which makes her the natural suspect when someone feeds ex-lover Philip Boyes arsenic. Enter Lord Peter Wimsey, who sees Harriet for the first time standing in the dock and is instantly convinced of her innocence. The rest of Dorothy L. Sayers' Strong Poison is spent in convincing the rest of us.

The sixth of the Wimsey novels and the first of four to feature Harriet, this tale is a classic in the crime fiction genre, both for the mystery itself (I will never forget hunting up a copy of A Shropshire Lad so I could figure out how Lord Peter figured it out) and for the beginning of the rich, complicated relationship between Peter and Harriet. The minor characters (Miss Climpson, the Duchess, Blindfold Bill Rumm) are only added seduction, as is the peek over their shoulders of the all but forgotten years between World Wars. In order, the Wimsey-Vane novels are Strong Poison, Have His Carcase, Gaudy Night, and Busman's Honeymoon.

I have read lots of books but have never had a desire to write a review. As English is my second language it`s not easy for me to express myself.
However, this book annoyed me so much, I just couldn`t resist.
I purchased it because of the good reviews and just couldn't understand what so hilarious about it. Tamara Leigh is trying to be funny, but it looks like a bad attempt to imitate Sophie Kinsella (who I find funny).
And there are so many repetitions that drove me crazy! For instance, Adda`s trying not to give nicknames to the people so she goes "Stick Women...ergh I mean Birgitta" that appears thirty or so times in the book.
And the plagiarism part is totally unbelievable. Who would not read a book that was written by a women who stole your husband and you are in the same line of work as she is? And after reading a few chapters she just didn't recognize it?!
At "bleep" and "bleepity bleep" parts I just gritted my teeth and had to skip all passages because of the Christianity talk. I didn`t know it was a Christian book, but maybe that wouldn't bother me that much if it wasn`t so shallowly and unbelievably written. I don't think any not believer would be persuaded so easily and in such a stupid way. I respect all religions, but I expect others to respect my brains.
The character of Nick is thin and tasteless, Sophia is as she came from a fairy tale and the only character I liked was Joyce.
I could go on and on like this, but this will have to be enough.
I just wish someone warned me about this book and absolutely can't understand all that good reviews...

I loved this book. Mainly because I was waiting for the campy ending of the main character accepting Christ, than realizing she could never write romance fiction again. But instead the author stuck to a more real panning out of the situation. The secretary is a kick. And our main girl is energetic and creative.

I nearly cried from laughing!

Adda Sinclair is a best selling romance novelist who's hit a stumbling block. She's due to publish a new novel but she can't come up with anything new to write. Her lack of inspiration may be due to her writing nemesis "Stick Woman" stealing her husband away from her. She does however manage to catch the eye of a new publisher who may have more than just a novel interest in her. With a new potential boyfriend and a new contract in the works, Adda seems to be able to start writing again. But then Stick Woman accuses her of plagiarizing her works (when really it's the other way around) and Adda is forced to lay low. Will this be the end of her writing career and her new relationship?

This was one of the funniest chick lit books I've read. Tamara Leigh has definately made her mark in the Christian chick lit scene and she's become one of my new favorite authors. The story is wonderfully written, fresh, hip and informative. I really felt for Adda as she has to put up with her writing rival who is also her ex-husband's new wife. I could not stand those two and what they did to her. I think this may be the first (and probably only time) that I've seen the name Dick used as an insult in a Christian fiction book but not in a bad way (if you get what I'm saying). I cracked up during that scene. I will admit that she handled the situations a lot better than I would. The relationship with Nick was wonderful, I absolutely loved the chemistry between them. I enjoyed reading about what it's like to be an author. It was fun learning about the writing process, the brainstorming, the writer's block. I also liked reading about what it's like to be on the bestseller's list and attending conferences. What I found most interesting was after reading this book, I was searching online and came across an article involving two major romance novelists. The story was the same where one writer plagiarized the other's works. However I don't think they had quite the same experiences that Adda vs. Stick Woman did! This is a fast paced book that you won't want to stop reading. There's lots of laughs in this book so I wouldn't recommend reading it in public because people are going to look at you strange for cracking up in the middle of reading. VERY highly recommended.

Excellent!!

I loved this book! Very funny and a sweet love story. I loved how the author showed us the characters with all of their clumsiness and struggles. I could see God working in their lives in everything that happened. It was a joy to read, and I got so involved with the characters that I hated to see it end. What a great new book by Tamara Leigh; I can't wait for the next one!

Enjoyable read

I have always enjoyed Tamara Leigh's books. I just recently found out that she has moved to writing inspirational fiction and that was exciting for me as a Christian. This is the first inspirational fiction book I've read from her.

Overall, I enjoyed Leigh's telling of the story. Adda was funny, sometimes sad, and generally heartwarming. The chemistry between Adda and Nick *chocolates* was evident and built upon well. All side characters showed interesting dimensions except B. Roth (she was very one dimensionally bad). Don't read the rest as there are some spoilers if you don't want to know them.

However, the reason I cannot give this book a 5 star is that there were a couple of plot holes that drove me mad. The most obvious one was the part where Nick shows Adda excerpts of Stick Woman's best-selling book and Adda fails to recognize that it is her writing and story. She just thinks that it seems familiar. This is very unbelievable to me as she is at that very moment also re-working on that same book. At that point, I already knew that plagiarism was going to be part of the story later.

The other contention I had was a smaller scene and not as important but for some reason, really stuck in my head. This is the scene where Adda's writing is flowing in the airplane and the flight attendant comes by and switches the computer off. Firstly, this is unreal as I doubt any flight attendant would do that (do I hear lawsuit?). Secondly, Adda turns the computer on later only to find that it has stopped working completely and she does not make a fuss at all with the attendant (this from a woman who pulls out hair from her archenemy). Thirdly, when she arrives at the hotel, we find that she can work on her computer again and there is no explanation on how that happened. This part just bothered me even though it was not a very important part of the storyline.

I'm glad that Tamara Leigh is still writing and that her stories are told with a Christian slant but I do miss the depths that I found in some of her previous works (Blackheart was an amazing story, as were some of the "Bride" series ones). I will continue to read her and will try Perfecting Kate next.

I haven't been much of a NASCAR fan, but after listening to AT THE
ALTAR OF SPEED: THE FAST LIFE AND TRAGIC DEATH OF
DALE ERNHARDT by Leigh Montville, I just might change
my mind.

This is a very exciting tale of Ernhardt, a ninth-grade dropout who
went through two marriages and a strong of no-future jobs before
turning 25 . . . he then became a legendary champion, only to
die in a 2001 crash.

Montville interviewed many close to Ernhardt, and it shows . . . I got
a real feeling for the man, as well as for his role in the tremendous
growth of the sport . . . though I still might not run to watch the
Daytona 500 or any other race on TV, I will not at least appreciate
all that the drivers have to go through to even enter the event.

Great introduction

Biography on one of if not the best driver in NASCAR history. Montville walks the reader through the triumphs and defeats of Earnhardt Sr. through his racing career and establishment of DEI. He concludes with the legacy of the "intimidator" after his untimely death at the 2001 Daytona 500. Well written book that only introduces the reader to the Earnhardts.

Dale Earnhardt was the man!

Scott Stout, I bet you didn't even read the book. Don't go bashing it just because you are not an Earnhardt fan. Folks are growing tired of your reviews, look how many find them helpful! (SS, WMD).

I just finished this book, and I absolutely loved it. It had me laughing, crying, and everything in between. I'm an avid NASCAR fan, and Dale Earnhardt is and will always be my favorite driver. I am following the path of his son, and I have also read Driver #8. Both books are fantastic, and a lot of fun to read. Very hard for me to put down!

This Book was Written by a NASCAR Outsider

It's obvious that this book was written by an (admitted) outsider to NASCAR. After finishing the book, I felt like Leigh Montville sat around listening to stories about Dale and then decided to write a book about those stories. I'm sorry, but I feel like the only reason this book was written was for compensatory reasons.

In one section, Mr. Montville writes that whereas other NASCAR drivers said that they were friends with Dale, Dale did not feel that they were his true friends (saying that you would always see them hang out at his trailer, but you would not see him hanging out at theirs). Dale did admittedly hang out with other drivers (outside of race weekends) and go vacationing, hunting, and fishing with them.

Being a huge NASCAR fan, I was overall very disappointed with this book (though I did enjoy the section about Dale and Neil Bonnett). If you want a brief overview of Dale's life, then this may be the book for you. If you want to find out the real/more in depth story, then I would suggest you buy a book from an author who either really knew Dale personally or has spent most of their life affiliated with NASCAR. That's what I plan to do.

I bought Hot Spell just to get Lora Leigh's novella The Breed Next Door. Although none of the other stories appealed to me, it was worth buying for that one story. Tarek is not a pivotal character in the Breed series but I sure wish he was. I thought his story stressed how hard it would be for one of the Breeds to live outside one of the Breed compounds. His character was so sweet and hot.If you enjoy the Breed series, I would definitely recommend this book.

This book contains the following four stories.

5 stars for THE COUNTESS'S PLEASURE by Emma Holly.
I loved it. It was different and sensual. The ending was wonderful. There was a surprise in the plot that I did not expect. It was erotic and also a very nice story. Story brief: Georgiana is a widow. She visits a ladies nightclub in Bhamjran where a yama (demon) is enslaved and must perform on stage in the nude.

Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: five. Setting: unknown time, probably early 1800s in a place called Bhamjran in the desert. Copyright: 2005. Genre: historical paranormal romance.

For a listing of my reviews of other Emma Holly books, see my 2 star review of "Prince of Ice: A Tale of the Demon World" posted 6/23/08.

4 stars for THE BREED NEXT DOOR by Lora Leigh.
Fun story. Good escape. Very sexual and sensual. This is one the of breed stories. The author has written several. In this one, Tarek is part lion. He lives alone in a house next door to normal human Lyra. He can't cook or make decent coffee. She makes homemade bread and good coffee, which he can't resist. One of his former evil lab captors is hunting him and threatens her. He learns that she is his one and only "mate". They have typical wild, frantic sex, breed style.

Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: four. Setting: current day Fayetteville, Arkansas. Copyright: 2005. Genre: erotic paranormal romance.

For a listing of my reviews of other Lora Leigh books, see my 4 star review of "Tempting the Beast" posted on 6/30/08.

4 stars for THE BLOOD KISS by Shiloh Walker.
Good, fun, different, and a feel good ending. Roman is king of werewolves. His brother Steven is taken prisoner by the vampires in New Orleans. Roman goes to rescue Steven and falls in love with the vampire princess Julianna.

Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: four. Setting: New Orleans, Louisianna and Tennessee. Copyright: 2005. Genre: paranormal romance.

3 stars for FALLING FOR ANTHONY by Meljean Brook.
Pretty good. I read this for background before I read Demon Angel and Demon Moon. It is a short story, 100 pages long. Demons called nosferatu kill humans. Guardians fight them and protect humans. Michael was a human, close to death and becomes a guardian. He is sent to fight a nosferatu attacking Emily, the woman he loved.

Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: six. Setting: 1811 London and Spain. Copyright: 2005. Genre: fantasy and paranormal romance.

The first four books in this series are:
