Hunter Books

After taking a clinic with Anthony I went to the library and found this book.It was the same patterns we had used int he clinic.They worked wonderful for the young horse we had in the clinic and with my older and more experianced hunter.These methiods will work for any horse.

As a hunter shower, I think that this book realy helped my skills as a rider. It has clear, easy to understand exercizes that streghten you skills as you go along!

This is a great profile of the famous BAe Sea Harrier that gives insights into the entire life span of the "SHAR."
Interspersed with technical descriptions, engineer, and pilot remembrances, Jamie Hunter has also included many of his outstanding air-to-air photographs of the Sea Harrier.
It is the ultimate irony that the Sea Harrier, who's birth came about from the results of flawed idiotic political policy was also consigned to an entirely too soon retirement due to the same type of flawed idiotic political policy.
From an almost after thought of an aircraft the Sea Harrier evolved into a potent interceptor with an excellent radar and the latest weaponry. It will be sorely missed.

This is an excellent overview of the Sea Harrier program, and tells the history of the machine from the early-Sixties to its current service demise. Interlaced with this history are plenty of personal anecdotes and a superb selection of photos, many taken by the author. Rounding out the book are some very useful appendices. My personal book of the year so far!

It would have been fantastic!! except for the fact that it's been two months and Amazon has yet to send me the book.

My husband and I read this book and we were amazed at the writer's ability to describe for us what we were unable to put into words. We had recently experienced some difficult times in our relationship and this book was a good source for us to begn to regain our ability to communicate with each other, to heal our inner wounds and to restore our intimacy with each other. We both felt as if the writer had been in our home and had wrote the book based on us personally. I highly recomend this book and we are looking forward to reading the authors other books.

Great story for young readers! Spooky without being too scary. The ghost hunters are interesting characters each interested in the mystery for his/her own reason. Looking forward to Shadow City Ghosthunters Vol II

This is a well thought out book, I love the scripture activities at the end of each chapter. This book is designed to help get you through the tough times of a divorce and it does, spriritually. All of Lynda's priorities are in the right spot. This deserves the highest accolades.

If you're like me, you've decided to "check out" this book because you've found yourself in the situation you never thought you'd be in: single and raising children. From the very first pages, Lynda Hunter spoke to me. Like me, her husband had an affair and left her alone to raise children. Like me, she had to face emotional and financial hardships as she tried to get her life back together. But unlike me--thank God this book was here to remind me--Hunter never forgot about her ties to her heavenly Father.

Hunter reminds us that there are (believe it or not) positives that can be gained by one's newfound single status. Maybe it will not reveal itself to us immediately, but God has a plan. Although we feel lonely, we must remember that we are never alone. God will not only take this walk with us, but indeed knows WHAT the walk will be. We have only to trust in Him.

SINGLE MOMENTS was a book that I couldn't put down; I was hungry for the message. But it is also written so that one could read one short passage a week and continue the blessings for one full year.

I liked this book so much that I've purchased two additional copies--one for a divorced friend who was particularly helpful to me in my time or need and one for my pastor. I've enclosed a note for my pastor to keep this book (read it too, if he wishes) and then pass it on when he next encounters someone in need of spiritual healing from a divorce as I was following my separation and divorce. If you're in that later category, pick up SINGLE MOMENTS. They will be moments well-spent.

I carry a sketchbook with me at all times as I travel throughout the world. Since I discovered the Watson-Guptil sketchbook I have used it exclusively for all my travels. I just returned from a couple of weeks in the Cook Islands and my trusty sketchbook held up well. The hard cover protects the pages from smudging and this handy size is easy to carry and pack. It will even fit in the leg pockets of cargo pants and hiking shorts. The pages are acid-free and have just enough tooth to take a pencil. Highly recommended.

I agree that these are great journals and sketchbooks. For some reason Amazon does not list the number of pages in the various Watson-Guptill sketchbooks, even though it is printed on the sticker. So this version has 176 neutral pH, nonyellowing archival-quality pages.

They were selling this book at the Scout Store and my son LOVES anything scouting related. He adores this series of books-we recommend them all.

Purchased for grand children, they search and compared rocks for hours. Great little book.

This is one of the best anime titles I ever read!! Finishing the retro sorcerer hunters story and giving in some juicy info 'bout almost all the characters. Grampa once a bad guy?! Tira admitting her feelings to Carrot?! Mt. St. Hordicks magical barrier broken?! Carrot actually getting a girl to date with him?! As we near the finale of sorcerer hunters, will the God of Destruction reawaken again?! Even Carrot poping "the question" to Tira near the beginning of the book!! Is Carrot actually going to GET LUCKY with the new girl he is dating?! Is what I'm saying actually happening?!! Read the book and see!!!!

OMG!!! I love Sorceror Hunters!!! This book is SOOOO cool! Even though Marron doesn't have a very big part it is still pretty good! Buy it!!

This book will be of interest to the independent minded adventurer looking for interesting, out of the way places to visit.
I learned of this book while I was staying at one of the "special places" described. Earlier, I had stayed at two others described in the book. Each of the three was intially found by searching the www. To my amazement, I discovered each description of each of the three "special places" to be very accurate in all respects. I suspect that the remaining descriptions are lkely to be equally reliable.
The book provides brief descriptions of each place's life style, surroundings, and of the hosts' personal interests. In many cases a brief history is provided. A marvelous accomplishment considering the brevity yet completeness of each description.
I find it to be an excellent guide for independently planning my coming 3 month excursion to the south of Spain. My copy is now well worn and well marked.

I used this book to plan a 10 driving day vacation to the south of Spain from Malaga to Granada, Seville and Gibraltar. Alastair gives a very good (and truthful) description of the houses/hotels/villas/flats on offer. The prices are (almost always) correct and the places listed are truly amazing. From an Aristocrats elegant town house in the Jewish district of Seville to a Victorian mansion house overlooking the bay of Gibraltar...not once was I disappointed in Alastair's definition of a "special place". If you are planning a trip to Spain and you want to get away from the beaten track, then this book is the one for you.

Guide books to Ethiopia are few and far between. However, the Spectrum Guide is all you will need to get an accurate glimpse into this far-away and often misunderstood land just now beginning to be touristed by the outside world.

There are section that cover almost every aspect of Ethiopian life: places, history, geography, food, art, religion, visitors' needs, wildlife, are just a few. The book is profusely illustrated with 200 gorgeous full-color photos abounding from practically every page.

If you are planning a trip to Ethiopia or just interested in learning about the culturally-3000 year old part of our world, once known as Abyssinia, then do pick up the Spectrum Guide to Ethiopia and get carried away to the exotic!

I think it goes without saying by this point, but this is by far the best book you could buy about travel in Ethiopia, I've read it about 3 times over now and I still really enjoy it. Theres not much out there about travel to Ethiopia, but even if there was, this book would stand head and shoulders above the rest
