This book is just full of great family activities for about any religious day. I got this for Advent, but we are still enjoying it.

The Holy Order is a well written book leaving no stone unturned. It is very descriptive and definitely holds your interest. The drama & intrigue are intensive. This is truly an intellectible read..

Both myself and my husband have enjoyed this book and "Honey for a Child's Heart". We have not yet read "Honey for a Teen's Heart", but it is on the shelf waiting for us when we are ready, and our daughter is closer to her teen years. The descriptions of the books she recommends are great for deciding if the book is something you might be interested in, yet she and her friends, do not ruin the stories for you. This is a great book, highly recommended for Christian families, but anyone can benefit from the awesome books on her lists. Her encourangement to make reading a wonderful manner in which to connect with those you love, is of great importance more now than ever. Please write, "Honey for a Man's Heart"!! Thankfully, many of the women's book recommendations are suitable for a man as well.

My name is Carlton Jackson and I am the author of "Hounds of the Road," published in the early 80s by Popular Press of Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and Kendall/Hunt in Iowa. I have no idea whatever of why this book is being listed as authored by "Pat J.BGU." When the book was first published Kendall/Hunt listed it as R. Browne (who was at that time the director of Popular Press). I thought I had corrected the problem. The book deals with the Greyhound bus company, and I am presently writing a new introduction and a new final chapter for a revised edition of this book. It will be out in early January 2000l. For anyone out there wondering about this matter, I am Carlton Jackson of Western KY University, and I AM THE AUTHOR of Hounds of the Road. I will now take steps to get this matter cleared up. This has simply got to be the most hilariously funny book I have ever seen and read! In fact, I've bought about a dozen copies -- have given several away and keep some on hand to give to friends who need a good laugh and cheering up. Nancy Rider Hunt has the most delightful sense of humor and deserves a Pulitzer for this little book! Kudos

i bought this out of interest, after seeing it had been nominated for a literary prize here in canada. i'm glad i did. it's such an important part of history - and this is the first book that examines with riveting detail - the story about gouzenko, a soviet clerk who defected. the documents, letters and accounts are really interesting, and the author makes it a really brilliant read.

I found the book to be a fantastic resource as a communications training officer. The book is packed with excellent ideas and concepts that can be put to immediate use in the communications center.

Winning interviews and auditions, understanding the advertising and fashion industries, getting an agent, photographing successfully, understanding the unions, getting work for children, and much much more.
