We keep this book on our coffee table throughout the month of December. The writing is solid Biblical theology in a lyrical style that draws you into the story, and the illustrations are gorgeous! It is a beautiful book that adds to our Christmas decorations and festivity, and it has a wonderful message that invites questions from visitors to our home who might not be familiar with the Christmas story.

I truly loved Margaret Mahy's stories of magic in nature, collected here under the title The Girl With the Green Ear. She has the most wonderful descriptions of hidden wonders of the world, and her use of imagery is fabulous. The Girl With the Green Ear is just one of several short stories that show us that the world really is a fascinating place. In one story she writes how a young boy was bribed by a wicked queen with "a singing cricket in an ivory cage and a box of velvet in which sits a single dewdrop." I could read her stories forever, and they are perfect for any age.

These activities work consistently well with all kinds of students. The book is well organized and accessible. Versatile teachers will love these lessons, which promote multiple perspectives, interdependence, critical thinking, and conflict resolution.

HEY GURL! this book is DA BOMB. It really inspired me to work at DIPPIN DOTS. I felt an uprising of good in my black heart. It really changed my views on paganism.I hope everyone reads this book. IT REALLY WURKED FUR ME~!

All of Gerard W. Hughes' books I strongly recommened reading. For thoses who are searching and doughtfull about their faith, Which I would assume is everyone.

Don Huges really brings out with and in the scriptures of the truth that God is a good God going about doing good and healing ALL that are oppressed of the devil.God does not cause harm, hurt, pain, sickness or any other trial to come on His children. After reading this book you will have a clear understanding of the true nature of God and how Jesus came to this earth so we could be free through His blood.

Goochland County, Virginia, was carved out of Henrico County in 1728 and was the parent, direct or indirect, of the following nine other Virginia counties arranged in order of formation: Albemarle, Cumberland, Chesterfield, Amherst, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Powhatan, Nelson, and Appomattox. The Goochland County marriage register upon which this work is based was originally compiled by the staff of the Virginia State Library from marriage bonds and ministers' returns, with an admixture of marriage references in Deed Books and Order Books for the period concerned.

Mrs. Williams' transcription of the register is a convenient reference tool, referring to some 3,000 brides and grooms and to another 2,000 associated persons (parents, sureties, and witnesses) mentioned in the register. The marriages are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the groom, with the date of the bond, name of the bride, names of parents, witnesses, and sureties, date of the marriage, name of the officiating minister, and page number of the original marriage register. There is a separate index to brides and another to all other persons mentioned in the text, so that, for research purposes, virtually nothing is wanting.

From the first to the last, our eight-year-old loved this series of books. He found them very creative and fun to read. He liked the author's method of writing each book from a different child/player's perspective. Even the "girls' books" were interesting. Reading the books extended his knowledge of baseball which he loved.

This book contains a lot of wonderful information about grilling. It provides cooking times for a large variety of meats and vegetables as well as how to prepare them. There are many interesting (yet simple) recipes, including many marinades and sauces that can be used on numerous types of food.
