I've seen a lot of books on home based business and this one's the best. It is jammed full of articles on direct sales and network marketing as well as in depth stories about top performers in the field. A must read! The information contained in the book is already helping me make money from the internet here on Maui.

I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology, and I just recently finished reading the "God Image Handbook." I found it absolutely incredible in its description of the research, theory, and practice issues surrounding the God image (i.e. a person's emotional experience of God, as opposed to their God concept, or a person's cognitive beliefs about God). The first part of the book (chapters 1 to 3) provides an exceptional outline of the primary theoretical contributions and research findings in the area of God image. The second part of the book (chapters 4 to 10) provides a research-based description and case example for 7 different theoretical approaches to working with individuals dealing with God image concerns. The last part of the book (chapters 11 to 13) provides an insightful discussion of measurement issues and diversity issues related to the God image.

I can say with confidence that the "God Image Handbook" is a must-have for any clinician, scholar, or pastoral care worker who works with religious/spiritual individuals. In fact, it would be interesting and helpful for practically anyone who is interested in religious/spiritual topics. The authors have clearly striven to make the material very practical and readable. Thus, clinicians, scholars, pastoral workers, and laypersons alike would likely enjoy and benefit from reading this book.

Indeed the "God Image Handbook" is an exceptionally well-written, well-researched resource that makes a powerful contribution to not just the fields of psychology and pastoral care, but also to the overall religious/spiritual community worldwide.

These two ladies came out with a fantastic book. If you get a chance to find a copy of this you will also appreciate their style & use of flavor & texture in the recipes. They come from California as did Alice Waters...in fact one of the ladies started out with Alice & Chez Panise.
I highly recommend this book to any of you out there looking for a new one to add to your collection...look for a used copy as it is out of print. Enjoy!

Don Hoffman and illustrator Todd Dakins have created a series of books to celebrate childhood. In this story, they feature morning and nighttime routines. The daily skills like getting dressed, brushing teeth and picking up after yourself are taught in a colorful and playful setting.

The art in this particular book is especially colorful. The bedding is made up of yellow stars, blue moons, and a purple background. Colorful books sit on shelves above the bed and the curtains are sky blue with yellow suns. A rainbow of colors continues throughout the book and I love the cat, teddy bears and Abigail all dressed up in her jammies complete with fluffy pink bunny slippers.

The children in the story are all smiles and seem to be enjoying these daily routines. They are shown in a loving family environment and again I think the cat in these books is just adorable.

It's a pretty book, very well done, kind of a magazine format, but much better. Nice canyon photos, great graphs, concise information, and a neato timeline of significant events in human history at Grand Canyon, with some classic old photos. This book is a bargain for all the info it provides. It's not a technical book, but for canyon beginners, it's perfect.

The intended audience of "Great Book of Zany Insults" is children who are being teased. The book lists common teasing statements, followed by a slew of possible humorous responses. Some of the responses are really funny; some are a bit too harsh for my taste; and some will surely be exactly what you want or need. My daughter particularly likes "Why don't you give your big mouth a small vacation." If you are looking for a funny way to tell a bully to stop bothering you, this book just might do the trick. Also suitable just for a laugh.

After reading The Great Buck Caper, we found it to be a terrific collection of well written hunting tales as told by master story tellers. Each story seems like "the real deal", but is embellished enough to keep your attention. We greatly enjoyed the perspective of these stories because the hunters are not obsessed with "record book bucks" as are many writers of today. These stories are more about the traditions of hunting and outdoor adventure. Overall, we found The Great Buck Caper to be an artful assembly of tales as would have been told around the campfires of days gone by. If you enjoy hunting and outdoor adventure, this book won't disappoint you. You will laugh at the misadventures and be inspired by the happiness and occasional sadness in these reflections of the good life.

This is a wonderful book for the novice interested in wine. In simple, easy to understand language,they tell you where and how to buy wine, how to order it in restaurants, simple recipes on cooking with it, and even how to pair wine with food. A nice gift, too

I never realized how versatile turkey could be until I got this book. There are so many recipes that it is staggering...and the best part are the recipes for leftovers. It is now the most important cookbook that I have and I have recommended it to many people
