I remember this book from when I was 12-13 years old, It is a wonderful, spooky who done it murder mystery, it starts when a girl meets a Ghost named Veronica Gray, Veronica was murdered and she wants the girl to help her solve her murder. There are a lot of plot twists and a very shocking ending, I wouldn't let anyone younger then 12 read the book as there are some adult situations in it and some adult language.

Although I have not actually had a chance yet to fully finish reading this great book, I would like to say that I have met Philip Gray personally at the Toronto Aerospace Museum on the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Downsview.
Having talked to Philip several times, I can say that he remains very sharp minded, and can tell you all kinds of interesting stories from his colorful life.
It's very rare to meet someone who has such excellent recall of times nearly 60 years in the past.
If you're ever in Toronto, you should drop by the museum, and get to see the restoration (in progress) of a Lancaster bomber. Philip is around quite often to give you a personal tour.

Michael D. Schroeder (the creator of www.gilbertmunger.org - a website presenting the catalogue raisonne of Gilbert Munger's more than 200 known works and documentation of the painter's life and art) and J. Gray Sweeney (Professor of Art History, Arizona State University) combine their considerable insights and expertise in Gilbert Munger: Quest For Distinction, an artbook that presents the works and explorations of nineteenth-century American visionary Gilbert Munger (1837-1903). It was Munger's travels which led him to represent the American West with a keen eye for accuracy combined with a dash of inspirational wonder. A very highly recommended addition to personal and academic Art History collections, the gorgeous full-color reproductions of Munger's artworks and informative and detailed text make Gilbert Munger: Quest For Distinction an inherently fascinating and informatively revealing search for the depth and meaning behind lasting works of Gilbert Munger's panoramic art.

This is a wonderful child's book with rebuses and hidden pictures. The illustrations are bright and eye-catching. A good way to introduce your child to the folk music of our nation. Sheet music and all of the words included, along with recipes, poems and games so you can have your own "Goose-fest".

This is a wonderful book of encouragement for those who are depressed or just needing a lift. I have read it more than once, and each time I get something different from it.
I loved the journaling aspect of the book, and the insight the author gives is a wonderful blend of her own testimony and truth found in scripture.

I read this book in about 24 hours -- could hardly put it down. It's a fascinating blend of mystery and history. Jack spins a great tale with enough fact to make it all possible.

For people such as myself who are not that familiar with the species, Ghost of the Forest is an excellent book from which to learn more about this fascinating species. The author and photographer, Michael S. Quinton, spent several years in Yellowstone National Park and Island Park photographing the great gray in all aspects of its lifecycle. In the end, his persistance (which, he admits, sometimes caused him to foresake what "little common sense" he had left [p. 81]) was rewarded with a number of striking photographs that capture the unique character of North America's largest species of owl. One cannot help but have a greater appreciation for the great gray after reading this book.
