This little book is jam-packed with helpful tips for the non-professional artist/designer. While I'm sure the professional
could profit from this guide, I think it is most useful to the aspiring artist/designer who has a design idea or project and
needs help in getting from the creative urge to the realistic application. All kinds of how-to with precise illustrations
are detailed by the author: how-to organize your desk top, drawing board and materials and supplies, how-to use inexpensive,
easily-available materials to make helpful artistic devices, how-to make lettering, free-hand circles and test t-squares and
triangles for "trueness" and on and on. I work in stained glass and I've found this book of great practical value for designing
and for setting up a simple work space at home. I think other hobbyists and crafters would find great value for the money
in this book.

This book is an amazingly complete compendium of information related to electronic medical records. The parts I read were
well-written and complete. For instance, laws regarding privacy of health information are enumerated state by state. Definitions
and summaries of database methods, terminology standards, policies, implementation guidelines, and a variety of other tidbits
can be found here. It is a definitive resource for professionals who need in-depth information about electronic health records.

Compromised - Nathalie Gray
Rating: 4 Stars
Heat level: O
Jo-Ann (Jojo) DaSilva is part of an elite extraction team on a mission
to get one of Earth's operatives out of an E.L.F. (Exoskeleton Humanoid Life Form) stronghold. When Jojo learns that the prisoner is her former lover, Mathias, she is not willing to leave him there to die. Disobeying the order to abort her assignment, Jojo finds both herself and the mission compromised.
Nathalie Gray's Compromised is an action-packed, emotionally charged, erotic short story that starts with a bang and doesn't let up. In trademark fashion, Ms. Gray creates a memorable heroine in Jojo, a drop dead sexy hero in Mathias and sexual tension that you can cut with a knife. Well that tension doesn't last too long once Mathias gets Jojo alone. To say that the sex was hot between them is an understatement on a grand scale. Together they were passionate, kinky and oh so stimulating but more than that, their sex was a homecoming that heightened the emotional impact of the story. Not to mention, I'll always be a little turned on every time I hear the words "say my name".
Admittedly, I am a fan of Ms. Gray's books, especially the
futuristics. Compromised has everything I look for in a good short
story...the sex, the characters and the story are all top-notch and left me wanting more. If instant gratification is what you seek, look to Nathalie Gray's Compromised.

I have read and reviewed most of this series of excellent books; you can be sure I will be completing the set. As a Leadership instructor and the author of my own book, "Leading Beyond Tradition," I seek out books about leadership and how to win. The interviews compiled by David Wright and captured in this series of books speaks volumes to Mr. Wright's ability to not only select the right people to write about, but the right things to ask, then articulate them in a really eloquent way. In Volume 6, Mr. Wright has done it yet again. I have to say the same things I said about his previous volumes. They are extremely well done.
These books should be mandatory reading in any educational institution. These are the stories of people, many from poor backgrounds, who worked hard, focused on the right things, and achieved profound outcomes. Their stories are well worth the investment of your time. The conversations are also well worth the investment into the series of books. This is how to get it done, right, and with high standards. Many of our colleges and universities, as well as some of corporate America could use the advice and examples of these fine people. Some are well known; others are not. They have one thing in common. They are winners - they do so with hard work, ethics and integrity, and dignity. While I speak highly of Mr. Wright's work, it would be unforgivable not to acknowledge all these people in these books who actually did it.
Once again, Mr. Wright - well done.

I first learned of Richard Fry through his reprinted articles on Cougfan.com. His writing and sense of history were so sharp,
I took a chance and bought this book. What a find! Fry paints a vivid portrait of WSU Cougar athletics spanning 100 years.
I couldn't put it down.

This book is a must-have for teachers at the high-school or college level. It is basically a series of exercises that correspond
to the topics covered in most introductory psychology classes. The activities are easy to use, and most don't require expensive
or hard to find equipment. My students really enjoyed the humor and creativity of the various activites.

Cuentos from the House on West Connecticut Avenue is filled with stories that allowed me to see the American experience through
the eyes of a family new to this country, and it is written with enough skill to make it easy for me to feel at home with
all of them. Recommended for anyone who enjoys remembering (or would like to be reminded of) why family is among the greatest
blessings we have.
