Well-thought problems accompany every chapter, with answers to a few. This book gives an incredible introduction to physics if taught properly, and can also act as a reference after the introductory course.

Come Again, Pelican is a wonderful adventure for any young reader. This lovely story tells of a great friendship between a young boy vacationing with his parents on the beach and a pelican who comes to the boy's "rescue." Any reader or listener will delight in the boy's seaside discoveries.

This is great reading materil-what can I say? In this book is a great storyline and a fun, exciting plot. It has its high points and sad points, like any other, with other things mixed in. Shakespeare again displays his wonderful talent in writing and acting. This is a perfect book for anyone.

If you like comic books read this magazine. It gives you an in depth look at story lines.

This is a handbook which I believe is needed in our community. With so many suffering from various forms of addiction, this book seems to be an important tool to complete healing for victims and their families. It really opened my eyes to the lies and truth behind this addiction. If you or someone close to you is struggling, this is a MUST READ book.

Wonderful Examples of Advocacy!

This book really illustrates the power of the community. To describe important aspects of community advocacy, the chapters provide real life macro studies by the way of peer-review articles, narratives, and excerts from other books. Each chapter illustrates and describes how communities have been gathered together to create change and then explains the importance of building and enhancing quality of life within a variety of oppressed populations.

Instructors of social work or similar fields with a Macro focus will really enjoy the real life studies which students can identify with.

Highly Recommend for teaching the importance of community as a whole.

Comparative Morphology of Vascular Plants by Adriance S. Foster and Ernest M Gifford, Jr. is a book in biology that provides combining the basic concepts of vascular plant morphology with a detailed account of the organography, anatomy, and method of reproduction of all of the major groups of the Tracheophyra.

This book combines the research papers, reviews, and draws from other books related on plant morphology. Paleobotanical discoveries are brought out in this book as well in order to help in the classification of vascular plants. Devonian Psilophytales are used as examples in representative parallel line of evolutionary specialization among early vascular plants.
I found that an amble representation was given to the problems of morphogenesis and ontogenetic processes.

Great care was taken in writing the book to make the reader aware of what the reader is looking at so that he/she will not miss the forest because of the trees. This book goes into great detail and has detailed illustrative examples all making the text very understandable.

The first six chapters are an orientation to the reader and are used in frequent cross-referencing throughout the book making an excellent foundation. Relating morphological principles help in structure and reproductive explanation in vascular plants, bringing detail and clearer understanding.

Morphogenesis, general organography, cytology and comparative fundamental structure are well represented here. This is an excellent text on plant comparative morphology of vasular plants.

An excellent book for the intensely commited young (college through mid-30's) runner. Anyone else would need to reduce both the number and possibly the intensity of the workouts. If you're a mid-pack runner or wish to complete marathons, this book would be of little value to you. If on the other hand you think of 20 x 400 as a normal workout during the track phase of the season, consider adding it to your library.

Like any good dictionary type of book, this little volume can be of great help to students and professionals alike. Like any other book by Atkins, be assured that the quality is very, very high. And, for a chemist, it's a definite plus that this friendly guide was made to withstand the rigors of the laboratory table; it will last you a lifetime.
