This book is fun and informative. The book keeps the young readers attention all the way to the end. This is one they could and will read in one setting. Yet, the reader will look at the illustrations and awesome photos many times. Great book to include with a water unit. A nice bonus is the glossary in the back.

This story mixes swashbuckling adventure, suspense and mystery-- I was hooked from the very first page! I highly recommend this book to any good reader-- but especially boys looking for an exciting story.

My mom, dad and I have read many mystery books in both the hardy boys books and Alfred Hitchcock. But this book is defenitly one of my favorites because of its stuning plot and non-stop suspense! once you pick this book up you can't put it down because your always waiting for the next clue to figuring out who or what is behind the mystery of the stolen treasure while giving Frank and Joe a few close shaves. A soon to be classic for mystery lovers!

This is an adorable book on how germs spread form person to person to cause the common cold. It is excellent for children to introduce them to the concept.

Very informative childrens book. Lots of pictures and information that hold my 4 year olds attention. The book is made well.

Although I am a Protestant, I picked up this book because I once met a saintly person with the author's name. I don't know if the author is the same person, but I am glad to have read this book. It is a children's book, but an adult can profit from it as well. It is a lovely introduction into the lives and motivations of Catholic priests. As the media tries to demonize the Catholic Church (and all other religions which take their faith seriously), it is useful to introduce children of all religions to the spiritual leaders of the Church which created the modern world. There is no better introduction than this one, told with stylish and compassionate prose accompanied by first rate photos.
