"We Love You, Little Critter!" is a sweet, simple "Little Critter" book aimed at teaching beginning reading. A Level 1 First Reader book, targeted at grades Pre-K - K, it features two sentences on each page, but the same sort of illustrations that have made the Little Critter books a hit.

On each page, Little Critter expresses love for a member of his family and describes how he shows that love. What really adds to this book is the bonuses at the end of it. "We Love You, Little Critter!" includes several activities, such as Word List (featuring both "Words I Know" and "Challenge Words") and "Action Match," in which the reader matches action words to pictures.

"We Love You, Little Critter!" is part of a series of "Little Critter" readers, ranging from Levels 1-3.

We bought this book and Bug, A Bear, A Boy (level 1) (Hello Reader) for our daughter who is in second grade. She has trouble reading but wants to read "big" kid books. These were the perfect fit! She loves the fact that there not her baby brother books and she can still read them (with a little help). Great books for those kids needing help with reading or just starting out.

A very informative book with personal interviews of the leading ladies. Wonderful photos!

My daughters are 22 months apart and the older one just loves this book still. It talks about the new baby and how the older child will react to it, but in a fun way. It's short and is a board book, so it survived a lot of wear since we've owned it. My older one now 'reads' it to my younger one.

I bought this book for my 4 year old son and he absolutely loves this book and all the books in this series. They are great for the parents too because the message is so important for the kids to learn : eat right, stay active and exercise and get plenty of rest. I love it!

I admit it, I wrote this book and I love it. The concept of slipping math skills quietly into the story is a great one for kids who, like myself, may find math as appealing as a plate full of lima beans. Math Matters takes the ickiness out of math, and Who's Got Spots? is a cute and humorous story that gets to the heart of a real kid's fear of not being able to be a star of a show if chicken pox catch too many of the performers. Cute!

I am 8 years old and I love to read. The Princess School books are so good that I stay up too late at night reading them!!! My Mom just ordered me the third and forth book in this series. I can't wait to get them! I think all girls should read these books!

This is a wonderful little story that can be used with little children. I even let them act the story out! They love being the frog!

My daughter is a struggling reader, so I'm always looking for high-interest topics. After reading Avalanche! and Volcano! in this early chapter book series, she's now hooked on natural disaster stories. She zipped through both books in a couple of days--very unusual for her. They have a nice combination of real-life survival tales and interesting science, including how to avoid avalanches and what to do if you can't. Both books begin with survival stories involving kids her age--sledders trapped under an avalanche in Minnesota and a boy in Turkey who survived an earthquake inside a collapsed apartment building. Great stuff.
