At first I thought popes were kind of boring, but when I read this book I thought they were cool! If you like biography, fun, and learning about chilhood of world figures ,this is the perfect book for you. Pope John Paul II went through a lot of sorrow in his life; when he was 9 his mom died,when he was 12 his brother died and when he was 15 his friends went away because of the Nazis. What I learned is that no matter what happens, life goes on and things will get better. I can't wait for you to read Pope John Paul II, Young Man of the Church!!!

David Fitzgerald is one of Oklahoma's top photographers and this book just makes you want to travel to all the wonderful spots he's captured on film!

This is an incredible book. It presents a detailed, cogent, and comprehensive description of the judgements of God that are inevitably coming on the Church and the World. Nita Johnson at the age of nine was taken up to the throne room of Heaven and shown a window into the future, displaying the world in the process of the judgement of the last days. She was terrified! But the experiences with visions, angels, and the Lord Himself continued to the present. Out of this direct revelation comes this book, sizzling like a coal from the altar of Heaven. It contains clear, detailed descriptions of the judgements to come. But it goes beyond just listing disasters to giving the context, the reasoning and the justification behind the judgements. All of this is presented with a level of prophetic accuracy that is unparalleled. Particularly worthy of attention is the map of the United States, seen in a vision and reproduced in the book, showing the states and regions which will suffer the greatest devastations. But the heart of the book is its trumpet call to a fiercely holy, uncompromising life abandoned to pure obedience to Jesus. This `losing of one's life' is in fact the only place of true safety in the terrible times ahead.

This is Book 1, Level 1 in the Kids Can Start to Read series. It's great fun! With bodacious pictures of beautimous (Basset) Hound and Pup(py), kids will have fun starting to read while also learning a lesson in sharing and caring. /TundraVision, friend of my LucyIndaSky, the Basset.

It's Pup and Hound. What more needs to be said? Any of these books are great. My son and I love them.

We bought it for our granddaughter who hadn't learned to read. It really helped her.

I gave the author 5 stars because the story was really good. It is about a boy that lost his tooth one night and he got a quarter from the tooth fairy. He didn't know what to spend it on. He changed his mind on lots of stuff

This book was one of my favorites growing up. I really enjoyed the prayers of the children as they prayed about things that seem so obvious to me today. The art is great. The pictures captivate young minds. The prayers make me realize what child like faith is all about.

Teaches about prisms and rainbows, but most importantly the plot is interesting and fun. Nice hands-on project at the end to make your own prism using a plastic cup, water, and flashlight. Highly recommended book. Another excellent book by Kane Press.
