Elliott Books

Brilliant! I've read Elliott previously, and this book is perhaps his best. Clear, focused and analytically distinct. I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in theory.

This is a wonderful book. I got it out of my local library and came into Amazon to find out how expensive it is because I intend to buy it. I have never seen this designer before and I'm very pleased with her style. The characters are happy but aren't too cartoonish. The projects that don't have "people" or "bears" in them are elegant.

There are both large and small projects, and projects with and, in the case of some of the small ones, without sayings. I like the alphabets that are used. The charts look clear, and although I haven't yet tried any of them out, I think even the larger projects are relatively easy to do because there are very few half stitches. The half stitches seem to be mainly in the face areas on some, but not all, of the projects.

I especially like the baby sampler, good for either a boy or girl, and the elegant wedding sampler.

The Internet is a wonderful place, but there are several things people should know before they start surfing - and this book is one of them.
Everyone, sooner or later, will receive dubious emails and this book provides the knowledge needed in order to not get caught out.

As the Internet evolves thieves are becoming more cunning in what they do, if you didn't get caught last year then you may be caught next year. This book has taught me how to spot suspicious emails and what to do with them (delete them).

This is probably one of the only books that should be made compulsory reading before a person starts on the Internet.

I have had a copy of this book for a number of years now and I still find it invaluable today. It gives a history of the Dadswells from 1560 with detailed descriptions on our anscestors and what they got up to. If you are a Dadswell or someone starting of in Genealogy, this book is a must.

For anyone who is fascinated by Dali this book is a MUST READ. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to understand this book because I am not a art historian or scholar, but I am so glad I read it. King does a phenomenal job at presenting Dali and his work in a way that is informative, funny, and fun. I love surrealism and I love film and this book caters to any reader. I had no idea all the work Dali had done with movies. If you're looking for a great read on art and culture try this book.

Healing comes in many forms, and Robert Elliott profoundly and simply touches on them all. I give this book to my friends who have cancer, and they love love love it.

If you have trouble focusing, concentrating, or are concerned about what others think of your game; if you shake when you're in the ring, can't think when you're in a tournament, then this is your ticket to freedom from all of that garbage. Anybody who knows me knows that I've been fighting this stuff for years, and I am a semi-professional player. I have great abilities, but was never able to produce it under pressure. Pretty frustrating. I'm a different player now. People watching me can tell. My abilities are now surfacing, and to tell you the truth, I'm a pretty scarey opponent these days -- and it feels great!

The book discusses the actor's early career, an open marriage, bisexual encounters, and raising two children in an environment of fame. Denholm Elliott ultimately becomes AIDS infected. The story then describes his physical deterioration and hardships a PWA succumbs. Honestly written and meant to inform, not self promote.
