Dean Books

This is a great bedtime book for pre-readers that converts to an early readers book. It is fun and fast to read and my daughter can't help but try to figure out what would happen if the world ran out of other letters. Oops - oh, that's because she and I wrote it :)

Awesome book! Dean gives you all the tools you need to make this a reality. It is not just like all of the other "think positive and your life will be great" kind of books. Dean is realistic and thought provoking. For those who don't love to read this is easy reading. I highly recommend this book for those who want to live a life of harmony.

Jim Tunney, former NFL official, presents his tale of his officiating career. Along the way, he shares stories which not only give the layman an insight to the hidden side of the NFL, but also demonstrates how to be the ultimate professional. Tunney displays uncanny understanding of human behavior and relates the key elements in dealing with people both on and off the field. A must-read for all sports officials. A joy to read again and again.

A classic in the field, this textbook focuses on practical skill development exercsies in learning how to communicate empathy and respect, and how to share one's own feelings sensitively but openly. It also emphasizes skills in working in the present moment and in confronting people without affronting them. Other chapters focus on destructive communication patterns to avoid and the process of counseling. A timeless book that is one of the most practical counseling books ever written.

It is set in a boarding schoolin 1984. It is a very good series with 6 books, i like it a lot because it has lots of adventures in it and they do loads of funny tricks and jokes on their teachers, freinds and enemies.
The caracters are Darrel the main person. The second main caracter is Sally. It is a happy, funny story and thats why I like it!

I found this book to be a very relevant and useful resource for incorporating my small computer consulting business. The author goes through the incorporation process step by step and explains how you can incorporate your own business using the exact same methods that attorneys use. The focus of the book is on incorporation, but there is also a substantial amount of information about taxes, accounting, record keeping, etc.

The best part of the book is the pull-out forms. There are tear-out forms for all of the filings and record-keeping that go along with running a corporation. All you do is fill in the information relevant to your company and file them (either with the state or in your record book) to make sure you are in compliance with the law. One whole chapter is dedicated to specifics of incorporating in Ohio.

An excellent resource to any small company!

This book challenges a number of accepted concepts inherent in the world of commercial dealings. Two of which, are argued particularly well in the book; the first is the current over emphasis of corporate governance the second is the absurdity of consolidated accounting.

For those interested in why the latest actions by the corporate regulators and legislators are unlikely to to bring an end to spectacular corporate collapses in the future the book is a must read.

If you only have time to read one chapter, read Chapter 8 by Prof. M.S. Terpenning at the University of Michigan.

Useful and well worth it. Every CEO should by this to understand systems thinking and realize the value of the T&D field.
