This was an unexpected treasure. Up until now, I'd only known Terry Dean as an internet marketers. In retrospect, he seemed
more principled and ethical than most in the lot. But I had no idea that he had such deep Christian convictions and training.
This is a MASTERFUL exposition of scripture and its explanation of how faith and stewardship results in our needs being met.
This isn't your typical "give God a dollar and He'll give you back one hundred" prosperity gospel. Terry goes much deeper to uncover scriptural messages that tell us that giving ourselves to serving Jesus results in blessings in all areas of our life (including the financial arena). In other words, a spirit-filled and faithful life invariably leads to a better life. God blesses those who love Him with their whole heart.
I applaud Terry Dean for writing this book so well. His religious training is more sound than many other public religious figures. My single piece of advice is to buy this book. Your life will change if you take the book's message to heart and put it into practice.

This is an amazing product that will enable retention of key points in embryology and human anatomy/development in short amount
of time via a concise, color-coded flashcard format. I haven't seen a text that presents the laborious details in an such
a readable and absorbable fashion. In fact, put aside your Moore or Lange... this is the only embryo text that one needs
for USMLE Step I or any other Board examination that covers anatomy or embryology.

This is an amazing book. Everyone I know who have it thinks so. The book is full with colourfull paintings of fantastic places,
caracters, heros, dragons, animals, settings, planets, continents, miths, episodes, and the like. For enyone who likes colours
and heroic images. Fantasy at its best: Fantasy as Fantasy. Many painters have contributed their best works to this volume.
I have looked to find a copy of this book for more then ten years, and could not find one. It is a book from the 70's, and
is out-of-print by now. But still it influenced me to paint the walls in my appartment in deep-blue. The book title that mentions
"Icarus", the mithical hero who tried to fly to the sun and burned his artifitial wings when he approached it, reveals the
philosophical framework that gives the book its artistic unity as a hole. The questions are not possed as simple propositions
or statements, but rather in picturesque language that springs right out of our archytipal unconsiousness. It's content is
more about dreaming than about reality, and still, it posses questions about our cosmogonies, astronomies, science, technology,
culture, gender, humanity, power, evolutional history and psychy. "[Fantasy] art is a lie that tell the truth" (Picasso).
Art is at its best when it posses important questions, and find the technical tools to deal with them. This book certainly
satisfies these two requirements.

This book came to me at a time in my life when I needed to understand it is ME and ME alone who can change my life for the
better. But even more than that. actual excercises are provided which are simple, can be incorporated into your everyday
life, and really opened my eyes on how I was in my own way. I've read a lot of self-help books but this one was the best
by far; it has truely changed my life and I often go back to read parts of it again to remind myself of how I can continue
to FOLLOW MY BLISS. Thank you Dean Hinmon!!!!

As a life coach, I'm always searching for materials which offer easily accessible information for my clients. This book definitely
qualifies and I've used it several times when coaching parents who are struggling to help their children after a loved one
dies. Dr. Jaffe gives a lucid explanation of the grieving process followed by age-appropriate activities for children geared
toward helping them better understand and cope with what they are experiencing. I highly recommend this book for parents
and, of course, coaches, teachers, and grief counselors.

It is difficult for any adult to grieve, much less to watch your child grieve. Dr. Jaffe explains the grieving process to
adults so they may help their young children work through this complicated process. She accomplishes this in a way that allows
even small children to ask questions and express feelings that may be confusing and unfamiliar to them. The activities are
very simple, yet allow the small child an outlet to express himself in all these unfamiliar emotions. Dr Jaffe explains grieving
in very simple terms so the adult who is guiding his/her child through this process of grieving can be of the greatest comfort
and help to his/her child. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced a loss in the family and has a child
who is also struggling with this loss.

"Forgiven Much", is a gripping and timeless account of how abuse plays a vital role in women's lives. A biblical back drop
given by the author details not only the complex personality of Mary Magdalene but is a clever and captivating way to parallel
a very private, hurtful story. Just when you thought you knew about Mary Magdalene from the Bible, you find yourself entrenched
in this newly unpredictable way her life story is told, and eventually she is understood. The path is set at an early age
for a life of self-destruction. A life of sexual and emotional abuse gives the reader a multi-dimensional look into this
untold story of Mary and how she earned her way into the Bible, eventually being saved by Jesus himself. How does this once
lonely, hurting, shame filled, desperate women with a bad reputation become holy and a follower of Jesus Christ? A real child,
young girl and eventually a woman, living and experiencing abuses as real today as they were in biblical times.
Leslie Dean's writing is exceptional. Dean weaves her story with attention to every detail and integrity with biblical accuracy. Her writing brings the Bible to life; it's like reading in 3D. You feel Mary's heart pound, her tears fill your eyes, and her moments of joy give you a sense of happiness. Mary takes you places you didn't know existed both in the Bible and in her personal journey. "Forgiven Much" is a message of encouragement, hope, love, and most of all GRACE. Through Mary's story, it's clear that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.

This volume is the basic text on interpreting natural and induced fractures in core. It is essential reading for any geologist
engaged in core description. The book includes careful discussions of how to distinguish natural fractures from induced fractures,
how to describe fractures and why this is important, and how to record your observations. It is well illustrated with photos
and drawings.
Two of the authors (Kulander and Dean) were authors of the 1979 U.S. DOE publication "The application of fractography to core and outcrop fracture investigations" which marked the beginning of geological fractography. Unfortunately, Reagan-era budget cutting resulted in destruction of the original printed copies of this seminal volume. That work is still available via microfilm, but the excellent photos that are the heart of the work are unreadable black blobs in the microfilm reproductions.

He does a superb job in capturing the character's fear of rocking the religious boat that he's in. His Pastor's greed and control made me uncomfortable when I realized that this is something that's really happening in America today. I was surprised by some of the plot twists along the way, and satisfied by the suspenseful moments. It was exhilarating to see the difference between the 2 churches in the book, but terrifying to see the battle that both men faced. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in seeing truth prevail, bondage ended, and the wicked brought low.
As a side note - if you have a friend or family member who is in a church that teaches cultic doctrine such as spiritual fatherhood, being a cursed Christian, prosperity only through tithing to the point of your own poverty, shunning those who leave for another church - then please give them a copy of this book. It might be just what they need to question their leaders and make room for God to lift the veil of spiritual blindness from their eyes.
