Corbin Books

This book is an incredibly lovely, informative, book about toning your body. I used it, and in six weeks my body was toxic free. In it's 146 pages, it explains various ways to make your body toned, without restricting your lifestyle. I learned about food additives and how they can harm my body, and my baby, as I am currently breastfeeding. This book was very informative and I loved it.

This book is an excellent introduction to the fast-disappearing art of repairing vacuum-tube radios, mainly of the 1930-1960 era. It is aimed at anyone with an interest in early electronics, and includes only enough theory to guide the reader through the fundamentals of radio operation and the failure modes of radio components. It can be useful to an experienced young engineer or technician as well as an untrained beginner.

This resource is simple and easy to follow, gives great diagrams and hands on demonstration guides. The lab manual (separate) is also a great investment when buying this textbook!

i was very pleased with the product and the time that i received it. the book came right on time and it was cheaper then what my school was offering. i was really pleased about that.

The book is a great read. The writer is very funny and has a great way of describing every aspect of facilitation in an interesting way. I agree with the author that this book is really for anyone who does any communicating. I'm a project manager and I check out one aspect or another in the book 3 or 4 times a week. I found myself musing over bits and pieces from the book days after I finished reading it. It's neat how that much information has stuck in my mind. I gave the Desktop Encyclopedia for Facilitation 4 stars not because it wasn't a great book, but only because I wanted more on virtual facilitation (facilitating teleconferences), and I kind of thought it would be there. This book was definitely worth the investment.

This book is about Magic, a palomino mare, and Robin, a boy. Together they have to face a hungry mountain lion. Magic is considered an old horse without much time left, and Robin can't work, play, or go to school like everyone else. Robin generally has to sit and daydream about what he would do, but eventually he gets to go on his own adventure, against the mountain lion.

This book is great. It helps both kids and parents that are disorginized.

There's an Act-Up poster around the Bay Area now that reads 'It's easy to sell hope in an epidemic'. This book is about hope through and through. The hope that the black gay man has about his future and success. The hope that the Mexican man has in a possible treatment for AIDS only available to him because he has a twin. but he isnt out-of the closet to family. He tells Dexter 'You wouldn't understand'. He can't explain the latino Machismo. At the beginning of the book the lead character is a hot writer with a promising career. At the end he is forced to call the twin of his partner for money. They are wealthy. The topic of money runs as an undercurrent throghout the book. Corbin (now deceased) weaves a tale that has very real characters with very real (and sad) problems. In the end the book is not about Machismo, money or hope. It's really about finding love and trying hard to keep it

Easy, fascinating reading, not overloaded with technical details. Gives a good insight into the origins of this huge industry.
