Good overview of the brass instruments. Includes basic history, setup, and a list of repertoire from beginner to advanced player. Highly recommended as an introduction to brass instruments.

This is a very informative book on everything one needs to know about teaching the string instruments, i.e., in this case, violin, viola, cello, and bass. Susan has added extra information to the older edition by her father, Norman Lamb, especially on the current technological development. The explanation of the technical terms is in just right amount that it doen't get too dry and detailed. I especially find that the chapter of "Selecting Instruments, Bows, and Cases" be most useful for inexperienced string teachers. The book is not designed to really teach one to play an instrument, but rather one to provide information on teaching the string instruments. One word of caution to buyers: the printing of pictures in some recent books has bad quality as if they were photo copied directed from a machine. I hope the pulisher would correct that.

As a Music teacher (K-3 public schools and private students on bass and guitar) I have used this book for three years. I have made it a required purchase for each of my students.

yourself with this method! Don't confuse this book with the 1st
Edition Bass Method reviews currently listed.The 2nd Editon was
released earlier this year 2004. You won't have to worry about
instructions that are under-explained or confusing.There's a DVD

I had the honor of being a member of a graduate counterpoint class whose instructor was Dr. Green himself. This text is clearly written, with helpful and challenging exercises in writing counterpoint.

This is a great book for anyone interested in Hawaiian food. It covers all the catagories from appetizers to main courses to bread and desserts. The great part about Hawaiian food is how simple so much of it is to make. Take it from a true fan of "local kine" food, this book will not dissapoint!!!!!!Enjoy!!!!

I DESIRE TO VIEW THIS BOOK

I grew up in a southern country home where Sweet things where a part of every meal. Probably why I am diabetic. JoAnna Lund won me over with her book," Cooking Healthy With A Man In Mind" where I found her "Banana Split Pie." This is a wonderful and satisfying dessert. Her "Healthy Exchanges Diabetic Dessert Cookbook" is a must for diabetics. These desserts are satisfying and a delight to prepare. Ms. Lund is a master at simplifying cooking using products you normally find in the cupboard and around the kitchen. I am a big fan of her style of cooking. I recommend all diabetics consider this book.

If you want to know the basic concept of supervisor this is the book for you. It helps you prepare for the test just as it says.
