I'm a tutorial and i would like to learn PB.Wich book should i buy?

This book is "just the thing" for talented high school or college age students who need basic ear training. The premise is that students don't just learn to match one pitch; they learn to put a "do-re-mi" with any starting pitch immediately, and quickly add the "fa-sol". I've had success with several students already.

The Basics is an easy to read and follow plan for teaching ESL essay writing. As an ESL teacher, I look for books that are suitable for students with varied language ability. This book offers a means for students to develop their writing skills through directed writing. The process begins with prewriting and works through several steps to get to the final product. The Basics also offers lessons on the most common language writing problems, such as articles, subject/verb agreement, plurals, and others. I recommend this book for ESL teachers and students looking for a comprehensive text for writers.

I have looked over this book. it is excelent. it has many photos of different champs. including a description of the animal and his/her name. along with sires and dames. I would recomend this book to readers, and lovers of the breed.

I should have added my comments long ago regarding this wonderful little book. When I was first introduced to SCD I found this book by accident and have used it for reference and sharing with others over and over. It is very user friendly. Simple information guides a person through the basic ettiquette and answers questions about most of the terms and frequently asked items related to the dance and culture. A wonderful beginners manual! I plan to locate and buy additional copies to share with beginners. (so I can have my copy back!)

I used this as a kid and then kept baking the recipes over and over again through adolescence and then this my young adulthood. I feel stupid reading reminders to use a potholder before I grab a hot baking pan, but lordy these cookies are not only super-easy and quick, but delicious. They will not last around the house, and make great gifts. I remember the chocolate chip cookies, the oatmeal cookies, and the jam fingerprint cookies as especially good.

About six years ago I was given this cookbook as a gift. Over the years I have used many of its recipes and it is one of my favorites. Her other volume is another one of my favorites. The best-loved recipes in this volume are for her beer bread, meat loaf (it will change your mind about meat loaf!), hot buttered rum, and pumpkin chiffon pie. There are recipes for appetizers, drinks, desserts, breads, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This cookbook has made an amazingly positive impact on my meals. Many of her recipes include suggestions for matching side dishes, main courses, wines and desserts. If you're looking for interesting and delicious recipes, this is the book you want.

Diana Helfand is known for her column in Midweek that's read by thousands of readers each week. When her book came out, I went to one of her book signings and she was really down to earth and friendly. I knew her book was going to be good because I'd watched her show on fox channel three and was a loyal reader of her healthy eating column.
After reading this book, I learned how to substitute all kinds of fattening ingredients for lower fat ones-- for instance, did you know you could use apple sauce as a fat substitute for muffins, and you'd never know the difference, too. Really. I promise! I've used this handy book so much already-- much more than some of my other expensive fancy schmancy cookbooks.
Another good thing about this book is that it has all of the nutrition information, which is always helpful to know when you're cooking for someone (or yourself) who needs to cut back on fat and salt.
Buy this book! There's a rumor that she's coming out with a new book soon (next year I think) and I can't wait to buy that one.

My mother bought this cookbook when it came out in 1976 and has used it regularly. I was thrilled to see good copies available because my mother's copy is falling to pieces. Every recipe we have ever tried from this cookbook has been very good to excellent.Good variety and great for the basics like mac n cheese, stuffing, gravy and quick breads. I purchased one and sent the link to my mom and sister who will no doubt make purchases, as well.
