Good nutrition with "taste appeal"

This book is full of helpful information and includes ways to increase nutrition without sacrificing edibility. The blender recipes for pancakes, waffles, etc include variations for using whole grain instead of flour, and almost every recipe is adjustable to suit your family's taste. If you want to make breakfast the most important meal of the day, buy this book. It's even worth the time for the special order.

Sue Gregg's cookbooks are very popular among many homeschoolers and women who are trying to improve the nutrition level of their cooking. In some cases I think they are overpriced and the information in most of them was not new to me.

But, and I say this emphatically, but the Breakfast cookbook is more than worth its price. It is unique, comprehensive, and it is one of the ten or so cookbooks I simply could not manage without.Sue Gregg's breakfast cookbook includes recipes and information for safely using your blender to grind some whole grains- that will save you the cost of a grain mill and get fresh grains into your diets much more quickly than waiting for the grain mill. Buying our own fresh grains is also cheaper than buying the flours, so I am able to make up for my tepid response to the other Sue Gregg cookbooks with unstinted, heartfelt, full-blown praise for this one. If you make breakfast instead of pouring it out of a box, this is a most excellent cookbook to own. If you pour your breakfast out of a box then this is a great cookbook to help you escape that money trap. I really like this cookbook (and nobody's paying me to say so and I have no stock in the company, unfortunately).

I didn't buy this book due to stuggles with fish taxidermy, but rather to see what secret tips the experts would share to help me fine-tune my craft. I was certainly not disappointed. Reading this book made a huge difference in my outcomes. Rather than my fish mounts looking very good, my fish now look alive. If you are a beginner interested in mounting your own fish, you need this book. If you are professional, you owe it to your future customers to have this book as part of your reference library. This book will answer every question you've ever had about fish taxidermy, with the exception of what specific colors of paint to use. For that, you'll have to buy Breakthrough's fish painting book.

I own a small cigar company and recently wanted to increase sales and market my products and services. A friend suggested this book to me, and boy was it worth it! This book breaks down every possible problem you may have and explains in detail how to overcome situations. The title explains it all. I can't decide if this is my absolute favorite Company's Coming book, but it is up there on the list! I have made many of the recipes in this book, and they always get rave reviews! The oatmeal cake is out-of-this-world. The recipes made with mixes are wonderful as well!

An excellent though small book on card or tablet weaving. Ideal for the beginner. Has a number of nice patterns with full directions. Useful for small groups as well. Gives some background information on card weaving and invites the weaver to further exploration. Well worth the small price. I have used it repeatledly along with more advanced works. Explains the necessity of threading reversals to maintain the proper twist and where to do the reversing.

This was the first book that I bought on Card Weaving. I just started weaving this past spring, and found everything I needed to get started from this book. Most of the patterns are really neat and weave well. There are 50 different patterns to choose from. The pictures are black and white since this book was printed in the 70's and it is spiral bound. A nice little reference book of patterns. :)

An essential political survey of issues

This is the fifth handbook for new Congress which raises issues likely to be major agenda items for decades; form tax cuts and public health program reforms to creating policies for returning the federal government to a healthier size and scope. Included is an update on terrorism initiatives and their threats to civil liberties. The Cato Handbook For Congress is an essential political survey of issues which are certain not to become quickly dated.

Well Thought Out

A logical, concise, and thorough analysis of issues no body wants to discuss. The topics are well presented one by one within the context of the threats to the American way of life as prescribed by the US Constitution. It seems that we have lost our way and this book is a road map to set us back on course. Major topics include: Terrorism, Government Reform, Civil Liberties, Money and Banking, Domestic Policy, Regulation, Energy & Environment, Foreign & Domestic Policy, International Economic Policy. The Cato Institute is addressing the issues here that every congressional representative, senator, and the president are afraid to address because US politics is not about doing what is right, but who can steal the most.

As a libertarian I am sickened by the current state of the state. Federalism is dead, boondoggle's are a dime a dozen, the government rapes me every paycheck, social security is a pyramid scam that allows only a select few early participates tremendous return, the world cop (US) is hated by all nations and yet it costs us billions to protect these whiney countries, government jobs are just an extended welfare program, corporate welfare is offensive, environmental laws favor deep pockets, etc. This excellent book does more then just identify the problems. It suggests logical remedies to the many problems the government has created. The writers not only balance the budget, but they cut $309 Billion in chapter 23 --every I agree with every cut. I have sent a copy of this book to both my congressional and senatorial representative with a note that this is my desired action plan. I challenge every American that loves this country and wants the insanity to stop to do the same.

Advise to victims
Helpful Votes: 1 out of 1 total.
Review Date: 2008-07-18
My only complaint about this book is that it doesn't offer enough information about what victims should do.

If you are a victim of gang stalking the first thing you should do is contact The National Center for Victims of Crime: Stalking Resource Center. The Stalking Resource Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice so it is the most reputable organization that is knowledgeable about gang stalking. [...]

They can help you find a Mental health professional that will treat you for Traumatic stress and not falsely label you delusional simply because they are ignorant that this form of stalking is going on.

Unfortunately there are currently no laws relating to group stalking so the law will do nothing to help. The best victims can do right now is try to raise awareness. The media is the only way to stop this growing social problem.

Good Luck!

A Common Problem That People Don't Know About Yet
Helpful Votes: 5 out of 5 total.
Review Date: 2008-05-15
In terms of big worldwide, life-shaking events, cause stalking, gangstalking, organized stalking, etc. is the biggest thing out there right now. The only problem is that most people as of yet have not heard of it. Upon hearing about it, most will dismiss it as the ravings of lunatics.

Do you enjoy your freedoms? Enjoy them while you can. I lost mine a number of years ago to this very subtle and covert form of harassment. It may sound harmless, but the goal is to render the target jobless, friendless, suicidal, or to an ultimate death as a result of nonstop and ever increasing stress.

Evil exists and it exists in the hearts and minds of the powerful to do wickedly against those who have little or no power.

I love all the little helpfull hints on the pages, just like in the gooseberry patch catalog. Autumn is my favorite season and this cookbook certainly helps make it even better.

Every cookbook by these ladies is just fun to read. There are hints and stories and quotes and recipes. The recipes are easy to read and always turn out great. They require commong ingredients that are not difficult to find at any grocery store.

This is a fun book well worth the money.
Enjoy.

Helpful Votes: 14 out of 15 total.

I LOVE this book, and everyone on my gift list to whom I have given it has loved it as well. The recipes are the tried-and-true favorites of Gooseberry Patch's staff members and customers from all over the country. Almost all are preceded by brief descriptions (usually about why they're family favorites and/or popular with guests), and many have unique packaging ideas. The illustrations are also warm and wonderful (and provide many ideas for one's own gift-giving).

This is a warm, wonderful book. I love it, and highly recommend it.

Although I have over 2,000 cookbooks, this is one of my top favorites. It contains recipes from customers all over the country -- and almost all are preceded by descriptions of why their family loves them, how many people beg for them, etc. Many also include directions for packaging as gifts. The book also contains cute illustrations, many of which provide great ideas for decorating one's own gift containers. There are also a number of quotations, some of which you may want to incorporate in your own crafts. There is nothing fancy about this book or the recipes -- it is primarily down home cooking, and everything I've tried has been delectable -- from layered cookie mix in a jar to main dishes. VERY highly recommended.
