The Old Testament: ten plays for readers theater is exactly what I was looking for to help bring the Old Testament alive for my middle schoolers. Being able to move around and have text, coupled with the characterization, brings Bible stories to life for youngsters who may think they're "too cool" to take religion seriously. I'd buy more books like this.

The Old Testament: Ten Plays for Readers Theater, is a wonderful book! This book would be wonderful for a Sunday School class, a Christian school, or just to enjoy at home. I really enjoyed reading this book. It really makes the story sink in; the Bible is hard to understand, this book is more towards our level. This book provides a highly enjoyable way to learn the storys of the bible!

I was impressed by the selection of stories and the creative way she makes them accessible for both children and young adults. Teachers can pick and choose not only the focus of topic, but also the focus of the lesson since Ms. Davidson includes many creative activities that help bring the stories alive.

Every one of this series is read and enjoyed both for the tasty, homemade, loving recipes but equally for the hand drawn country illustraions. the spiral binding is handy in the kitchen and the cover makes it a cute addition to a shelf or table set up for the holidays.. No I don't work for the company I'm just a long time fan! Great for gifts, too. They are WELL received !

This book was definitely not a waste of money. It gives ideas for family traditions, homemade gifts, and lots of good recipes. This Gooseberry book would make a good holiday gift for any family member or friend who enjoys homemade items or craft activities.

I have several of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks but I have to admit that this is one of my favorites! Mainly because I like reading about the traditions and I will read it all throughout the year. One of the best hints is to help defray the cost of a Christmas tree during the holiday season, we decorate an old coffee container and tape it around the top and throw in all of our loose change all year round and believe me by December you will have enough money to buy a very nice tree and it doesn't seem to hurt the pocket book so much.

this book offers many practical tips for everything about pcs. the section on setting up a pc is helpfull.

This book is full of great information and to the point. I hate books where I think, "Well I'll never need that information." But this book is stocked full of practical and useful computer topics. Stick this book by your computer like I did. I refer to it from time to time and it really helps me.

This is the book to have if you are identifing US Commerative Stamps. It has a "lay flat" coil plastic spine, and large colorful pictures with full item details. I've had the other books with the glued spine, and this is the best improvement I've seen. Amazon has the right products for all your needs, and at great affordable prices.

This book is a necessity to the serious stamp collector. Its ease of use when trying to identify stamps makes identification quick. The colors are bright and images are clear. This is my third year purchasing this item. A certain must!

I found that there were a lot of choices to choose from. However this is complete with all the information needed for a Stamp Collector.

I cannot recommend Power Dialogues too strongly. I have always been "successful," but have spent decades in and out of therapy, prayer groups, etc. in an attempt to feel better on the inside. All of those approaches were good and helpful, but at I best I made incremental process. However, using the simple tools and questioning process in Power Dialogues, I gained the most powerful, dramatic and breakthrough insights I've ever had. I learned that I was creating my anxiety and fear and shaky confidence - not the challenging circumstances around me. I also learned that I was creating those feelings as a strategy to take care of myself, and that I could freely chose better, more effective and more enjoyable strategies. I have told all my family and friends about this approach and hope that you will try it out for yourself too.

Of all of my cookbooks that I have collected over the years, this is one that I turn to time after time... it is one of my all-time favorites! The recipes are super and I can always find inspiration when I need something yummy and special. Try the "Flawless Hollandaise" and you will be assured that this recipe alone is worth the price of the book! (I'll be making Eggs Benedict for New Years Day brunch using that recipe and will, once again, get raves from my guests!)

This is an excellent, highly effective resource for nursing students as well as experienced nurses. The head-to-toe assessment guide is easy to follow, and nicely guides the application of theory to practice. I highly recommend this product.

One of the most important areas of nursing is the assessment phase. The quick reference physical assessment cards are a great tool for nurses and students alike. They take you from head to toe helping to assure you don't miss any part of any system. They help to organize your assessment and keep you focused.

What a great idea! A set of thourough and complete assessment guidelines that the student nurse can carry in their pocket. They are color coded by system, making information easy to find. Using them routinely helps the student to reinforce assessment knowledge each time they refer to them. I would reccommend them to all nursing programs.

I've been rereading tunes, correcting how I play them. Script is clear, mix of tunes is mostly the same, a few new, a few maybe gone.

Beyond useful! It's great to have so many more songs, further to the excellent Volume 1. Even for non-jazzers, these volumes are more than worth their cost just for the bass-clef sight-reading practice that they provide.

I purchased this book for my 3rd Grader thinking it might be a bit over her head - on the contrary, she has LOVED it! Each 2-page chapter covers a particular desert animal. One page has a 'story' about the animal and the other page lists bite-sized facts about the animal and it's habitat. The illustrations are realistic pen & ink and there are LOTS of them. There is a terrific reference section in the back which includes everything from how to hike in the desert to an extensive list of additional reference books.

As a new directee, this book was provided to help me understand direction and what to expect from my spiritual director. In my work with the youth of our church, the valuable learnings from this book help me be present to them during our time together.

I had already read a number of more academic books about spiritual direction when I discovered Fleetwood Range's down-to-earth approach to the topic. Her wealth of experience as a spiritual director, along with her understanding of the ambivalence with which many individuals are called to this ministry, makes her book a valuable tool for discernment. By the time I finished reading it, I was able to say without hesitation, "Yes, spiritual direction is indeed where God is calling me to serve."
