This is the best handbook on a pain related subject that I have ever seen. While certainly not intended to be an exhaustive review, it provides a great deal of practical info in an 'outline" form.

I highly recommend the book to anyone who deals with back pain, especially in primary care.

Simply excellent. It provided adequate theory behind each of the experiments while explaining the experiments' procedures step by step.

The kids are teasing a classmate about her interest in butterflies. To better educate them and her readers, Mrs. Frizzle takes the class to the bog, where they learn about camoflauge, life cycles, and more!

The bright colourful illustrations catch the imaginations of younger readers and complex concepts are brought across simply but accurately. Readers identify with Arnold and the other children. They enthusiastically take part in the discussion as if they were right inside the covers of the book.

(My son is sure he can out-reason Dorothy-Ann, and this stimulates him to work out what happens next.)

The Magic School Bus Gets Eaten is no exception. Concepts of food chains are brought across simply but clearly and readers are led to make deductions based on previous information.

Busy, colorful illustrations and dialog tells a story about photosynthesis. Mentions that plants get water from soil, air via holes in the leaves, and energy from the sun to make a kind of sugar. Explains that leaves are green because of the chloroplasts. A more detailed note at the end explains that the plants make carbohydrates from water, carbon dioxide gas, and sunlight. The Magic School Bus is a great bunch of books. We use them in our homeschool. We really miss the TV show. The books keep my childrens attention. Lots of great pictures and conversation of the students. I think they are very detailed.

My kids love anything from the Magic School Bus collection and this one is especially fun. Very colorful and detailed and a good choice for young readers. This is a good book for early readers and would be about a level 2.

Another in the series of successful "Magic School Bus" books for young elementary-age children, The MSB Meets the Rot Squad is a helpful addition to any teacher's library. It can enhance units dealing with the life cycle in a way that isn't simply approached in other texts for this age group. It really helps jump-start the learning process and bring this concept to life.

My kids really enjoy the Magic School Bus series, and this book was no exception. My 8 yo daughter wants to be an astronaut, and her mind hasn't changed since reading this! I recommend this to all parents with younger kids who want colorful illustrations and good information without being overwhelming or boring.

It had great pictures.It had great facts. I learned about preying mantis and spider traps. Spiders are smart at catching their prey. The next time I see a spider, I will not be afraid but praise its talent.
