I am very pleased with text; it is a excellent introduction to working with families for the new social worker or social work student. I especially enjoyed how it differentiated between social work and therapy since those two terms often get used interchangeably.

I am a psychology student, and I was under the instruction of Professor Lippa, and we used this book for his class. I enjoyed his class, and this book. It supplied real-life scenarios to drive his points home. I feel that every student of psychology should read this book.

This book is awesome. I always hated math in high school, and never did well. In college I left it right to the end of my program because I dreaded it. This book saved my ... and got me interested in learning. This is the first math class that I've done well in and it's all thanks to this book.

The Discussion sections have tons of examples that are meticulously explained. The Investigations offer a hands on approach to learning through a sort of discovery approach. Plus it's a workbook so you can write in it and not have to waste money on paper.

I always hated doing homework, especially story problems--because I didn't know where to start. This book has story problems I could relate to--and some of them even made me laugh. Imagaine actually enjoying a math book!!!!

I even called the publisher to see if they had a book for the next class--I liked it that much! I guess there will be one next year--too late for me but I think I have a solid base to get going with now.

I highly recommend this book. Every college prealgebra class should use this book and help take the fear out of math.

Great book for real men to discover and connect with. The author hits the nail on the head in the first chapter. Several friends have not been able to finish the book because they see too many of their errors. But a strong man will take so much from this book and make their relationships with women stronger and better.

I was amazed to find there was no review for this series of books. While they have been out for a few years, I would regard them as one of the best resources for independent learning of Israeli Hebrew, and even as an intro for learning Biblical Hebrew because of the excellent pedagogy employed. The audio tapes for Books 1 and 2 are available on the internet (thank you!) and are definitely worth the time to check out, instead of so many audio recordings out there that use 'non-native' speakers. It's quite obvious from a teacher's perspective that this product was very well thought out. Mansoor's books and tapes are also a good product to use.

This book is good for younger grades because it has great repetion.

"Jack and Jill's Treehouse" is an appealing cumulative read-aloud that is written in the tradition of "This is the House that Jack Built." It is a simple story about Jack and Jill's efforts in building their very own treehouse and is beautifully illustrated in color by Henry Cole, with the text written by Pamela Edwards. The cumulative style makes for an easy read-aloud and is also enhanced with features such as highlighted words and pictures that act as a cue to young readers.

All in all, this is a delightful read for all youngsters who love treehouses, who dream of having their own treehouse and for little ones listening to a parent or older sibling read-aloud to them.
