I consider myself a well informed citizen, and yet when I read So...Help me God, I was amazed and deeply greived to see how far our country has strayed from its wonderful beginning. The authors research on the smallest detail of our true American history was very enlightening. It was not just the sad scenerio of Pres. Clinton but the revelation of the real moral decline of our country. Some of the questions that she asked in her letter to Mr. Clinton, were questions that many Americans would like to ask. I also felt a deep compassion for our President when I realized how far, he to has strayed from his conservative Christian beginnings. It seems obvious that somewhere he violated his own core values. I was very angered at President Clinton when I read this book. But after reading it, even though the author exposed even more than I already knew, I felt compassion for him. I also love having our Constitution, Declaration of Independance and all the other American documents included in this book. I am sorry to admit that I have not read these since High School. I consider this book to not only be excellent reading, but it is wonderful reference book that I will always have in my personal Library.

Melinda Dille's "Tales from the Dog Park" is extremely charming, but mostly it shows us how much we can learn from our dogs as we observe their behavior. I love my dog, and those who have left me, and I know that you will enjoy and come to love each chapter of this little book that is filled with warmth and love.

Dog -lovers unite!This is possibly the most thoughtful, dear, book about man's best friend. The short essays are insightful and humorous and the artwork is adorable. This is the perfect gift book for all dog lovers. I have purchased over twelve copies to date because it is the perfect gift for all of my friends who have a doggie. And every time I show it to someone, they want to know "where can I get this book?" Seriously.

Clinton Longnecker does an excellent job of applying the concepts of the 2 minute drill in football to everyday business practices.
This book was a great read and I think I may follow some of the logic presented her in my everyday business deals.

"Two Minute Drill" is a fun read, especially if you're a football fan. In fact, the foreward was written by Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis.

But the book is also packed tight with information. Which only makes sense, when you think about it, because that's what football teams who have to run the "two minute drill" are doing. They're picking up the pace of their offensive attack because they've got their backs against the wall--they're running out of time--and they've got to achieve their goal of scoring points or they will lose.

Sound familiar? It's what faces most companies in today's hyper-competitive global economy. They're trying to be as efficient as possible and accelerating their activity level in order to succeed. They can't manufacture more time, so they're trying to improve their performance. Of course, that's easier said than done.

And that's where this book proves useful. It systemically lays out a model that consists of crucial factors to success and also provides a way to evaluate performance and stay on track.

The methodical approach that Longenecker, Papp and Stansfield describe is a game plan that leaders of any organization can put to good use in today's environment.

I used to not understand dogs. They always seems to say the same old things, like "woof-woof" or "bow-wow" or "arf." But now, after reading "Understanding Dogs" I have edifying conversations with Fido about Derrida, Foucault, Marx, and that particularly dense philosopher, Gritzerus. As Fido always says, "bark bark, woof woof, bow wow, arf, grrrrl." HAHAHAHAHAHA! What a sense of humor!

WOW...I have been in a DV situation and READ so much. This book by FAR! Was the most helpful. A must read for anyone in an abusive relationship.......the church.....and family. READ IT READ IT READ IT!!!! These women are so brave and wise!!!!

How sad that this book is so badly needed, especially in the Christian community. But it is. Every pastor, every counselor, every Sunday School teacher, and every parent should know and understand the content of this excellent, practical, and powerful book. I'm buying a copy for my pastor.

Berken's first book is amazing! I didn't want to put it down! It hits on everything: spirituality, disability, family, community, cancer, humor and simply living life. Life on the Ark is very real and very down to earth.

What makes this book so great is that anyone can read it, and find something to relate to. Anyone who knows someone who has dealt with cancer. Anyone who knows someone with a disability. Anyone who has dealt with divorce, and family, and starting over, and then incorporating the power of spirituality into all of those things.

This book is amazing, and no matter who you are, or where you are on your journey, you will learn something from this book... and no doubt you will laugh and cry.

An excellent book on the History of the White House and the people that have lived and worked there. Great pictures, past and present, and an easy to read narrative. The White House furnishings themselves could be a museum and they key ones are detailed. In addition it gives an overview of many of the well and lesser known events that have taken place. Also interesting to read about family life of the President's during the past 200+ years.
