This work is a translated version of Calvin's response to Albert Pighius regarding the issue of the eternal predestination of God. Calvin deals with the historical proof (i.e. other theologians/writers prior to Calvin) of the doctrine of predestination as well as the biblical proof. The last section of the book is simply Calvin responding to the claims/arguments of Pighius regarding the issue at hand. This book is crucial to the overall debate between the Calvinist and the Arminian. Therefore, if you are researching the issues and miss this book then you have missed one of the best primary sources from Calvin himself. Another good reason to purchase and read this book is to find out what Calvin really espoused. All too often people assume Calvin espoused certain things which he in fact never espoused because they read secondary sources written ABOUT Calvin's view. Thus, it is crucial to read the primary sources. Another book that works well with this text is titled "The Bondage and Liberation of the Will" by John Calvin (ISBN - 0-85364-718-6) which is also available for a good price here at Amazon. However, don't miss this one in your research!

I have been a fan of FLIRT since the first book hit stores, so I was slightly surprised to see how abruptly the characters changed, without hardly a backward glance at the flirtistas I had grown to know and love. That said, I must admit that I did enjoy the arrival of new faces; though I can't say that any of them held the appeal that was so omnipresent in Mel, Alexa, Olivia, and my personal fave, Kiyoko. Georgia comes off as bossy and self-centered, and Elizabeth seems so meek and gullible. I can't say much about Asha, Mikki, Nova, Naliah, or Sivya, as readers never truly get a chance to learn anything in-depth about them. Still, by the end of COPYCAT, I couldn't help but feel that the characters had begun to grow on me, making me want to learn more about them; and the cliffhanger ending has only made me more eager to find out what will happen next. A flirty addition to the FLIRT collection!

Excellent pictorial that reminds one that cars once had style. Granted, the Corvair had much to be desired from a safety standpoint, but at least it was uniquely styled, which is more than can be said about all of today's look-alike jelly beans transportation modules...

For those of you who own a Corvette, or are fascinated by this legendary sports car icon, this is a dynamic book including the history and sensational pictures of the mid-year models. It was a great addition to my collection and offers information not included in many other sources. A good one to leave on the coffee table when the friends come over!

Crompton offers one of the best descriptions available of the development of the doctrinal system of Jehovah's Witnesses. The author has succeeded in approaching a controversial subject strictly analytical and offers deep insight on how the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses have developed from Russell's adapted version of Millerism right into the contemporary framework where controversy is largely avoided or at least toned down. Interesting aspect is the way the author estimates the future of the Watchtower-Society (and its doctrines). When the leadership of the Society takes his view in account and applies the offered possibilities, it will remain existing deep into the 21st century.

This is a good book covering environmental taxation issues.

John Clarke, aka Fred Dagg. World Class Farnarkler and humorist sees through the obvious to the sublime. Another New Zealander who now calls Australia home, Clarke has a better understanding of the Australian psyche then most.

If you cannot find this volume, get 'A Complete Dagg', another collection of writings over the same period. Sure they are a little dated now, but are definately worth finding.

One hopes his thoughts on the Sydney Olympics will also be collated.
