We use this book in addition to our own internal ECG course. It gives plenty nice examples for ECGs with a short description, which is not to complex for our audience (programmers and salespeople for out PC-based ECG systems). Excellent work! The authors also have an excellent website with lots of ECG material.

I personally found this book to be of great use to me during my training as a student nurse, it was easy to use and helped me with most of my assignments, and I will find it to be continally usefull as a qualified nurse.
The book was originally recomended to me by a lecturer, and finding it difficult to loan from the library as it was such a popular book I eventually bought it and I found it to be a worth while investment.
The book itself is well structured, clearly set out, informative and easy to read.

Detailed summary of all the teckniques of anaesthesia till 340 years back. It offers very good material for those hwo are interested in the field od medical history.

This is a very clear book which covers a varity of topics about O & G. It is suitable for beginners, but you may find it talking too briefly as you progress. Overall, this is a good book to start with.

Eternal Breath is a beautiful book. It offers many details and wonderful, authentic stories about Leonard Orr's amazing life and work. I personally know Leonard, and I feel that Pola has captured his amazing Spirit and personality with great accuracy and heart-felt care. This book is a great documentation to the history of Rebirthing. I also recommend Rebirthing in the New Age for anyone desiring to learn more about Leonard Orr and the story of how Rebirthing was born.

This book is written in an accessible and practical format. It assumes nothing but at the same time treats the reader as an intelligent participant on the journey to understanding evidence based practice.

It is up to date and I was especially impressed with the web address it gives to ensure the reader is kept abreast of any changes since publication.

It systematically explains the need and use of 'evidence', how to find it (the search advice is comprehensive and includes details such as search terms and the best search engines aswell as web addresses) how to evaluate it and also how to act on it.

All in all this book was great, and I would reccomend it to anyone involved in evidence based healthcare practice as it will guide you through the thorniest problems.

Good book, especially for graduate level nursing research. I would highly recommend it for all research students.

It is well-presented and follows a logical format with manageable chapters. Each model is presented to enable the reader to develop an understanding of its history, development, application and interpretation and concludes with a relevant case study to provide further clarity. The chapter on emerging models is particularly illuminating, offering a snapshot of the way different cultures approach Occupational Therapy interventions. The chapters on Frames of Reference are succinct and offer brief case studies to help the reader develop a deeper understanding of each step in the process. A very useful book for students, new graduates and those wishing to refresh their knowledge.
