14 short stories by the egg headed belgian detective. All the stories are suspenful all the way to the end with cases ranging from country houses to an Eygptian tomb. Every story is a great mystery to baffle the mind and none can fail to entertain. These stories were fun to read and can be recommended to any avid mystery fan ,its intruige manages to surpass that of Sir Author Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.

I just love Poirot! These 11 stories are extremely enjoyable. Poirot is his usual lovably arrogant self. Poirot fans will enjoy the last tale, which is Poirot's only "failure". Each story has a satisfying conclusion and the expected tricky plot twists.

'Prescription for success' is full of interesting and useful advice that can be applied to the business of pharmaceutical sales all over the world. The information is presented as short and concise individualised lessons for the sales representative, making the book enjoyable and readable. The material is well-researched, and broad principles relating to sales techniques are applied to the specific field at hand. An insightful read.

Christie Dickason was born in the American Mid West and has at one time or another worked as both a director and choreographer. She now lives and writes in London. She is married with two children. She has written several successful novels and this one is the latest of them.

For me Christie Dickason has achieved what most author's can only dream about and that is gone from strength to strength with each successive novel. This is no mean feat in the historical novel side of writing because when you think about it, there is nothing new in history. It is all regurgitated information that has been written about before, probably hundreds of times.

Even though the novels she writes are works of fiction, the period that she is writing about must be accurate and authentic and the authors writing seems to bring a breath of fresh air to periods of history that may have been pushed to the back of the mind of the reader, probably because what he or she has read about the period in the past was boring and uninteresting. Not so with Christie Dickason's books. History becomes exciting, sexy and eminently readable.

The Principessa is an excellent book that weaves a magical spell of mystery, taking the reader from the excitement and squalor of Jacobean London, to what in those days must have seemed like a different world. The magnificence of Renaissance Italy.

Infused with wave after wave of enjoyable reading!

A number of stories are a true specialty, and this enactment of is a painless reading trek of simple interpretation, laced with interesting and somewhat sexy dialogue and well developed characterizations, especially Caitlin and the strong willed Susan, who are infused with wave after wave of indelible human truth. Genuinely surprised by the plot, and the dominatrixes and submissives, and designed toys and other tools of the trade you will come up, I had to stay up until after midnight to finish it. Even though I've found I have some issues with the loose editing of the book, it never- the-less rates gold stars across the board. Great, enjoyable book.

Intense, disarmingly honest first novel. Intimately subtle.

Christie Perfetti manages to develop in John Atlas a character both intimately familiar and ephemerally abstract. His story, deeply entwined with tragedy and personal transformation, charts a course not only through the landscape of the author's youth...but also through the channels of anguish and directionlessness that many people find themselves struggling with in their own lives. The work is not polished or over-produced: it is testimony to the personal and emotional investment that Perfetti makes in her work - without over-regard for the exposure of her own vulnerabilities lying so close beneath the literary surface. I highly recommend this novel as a thoroughly enjoyable and endearing introduction to the author. Expect more great material to come to press soon!

Don't miss out, its time to begin.
Helpful Votes: 5 out of 6 total.
Review Date: 2008-06-05
This book remedies what most people find wrong with the fantasy genre; weak, flawed magical systems or far reaching storylines, with long drawn out tales that have 200-300 page lulls in the middle. "The Rise of the Ice Wolf" is a 340 page book, the first of the "Ice Wolf Trilogy" and the characters are strong, three-dimensional, who evolve and exhibit the human qualities that lack from most books. The heroes are not pure; everyone has flaws. "Enemy" becomes something of perspective rather than absolute. This fantasy book follows the aspects of reality, just set into a time, a world not of our own. The dialogue flows smoothly with humor throughout, and depth and emotion show vibrantly in each chapter. Each chapter, each scene, is crucial to the overall story being told. No filler, no fluff. No wasting time being bored out of your mind. Come, take a journey with us. You will be grabbed from the first line, and we'll refuse to let go until the story is told. Until you realize, what it means to be lost and immersed in a story, becoming one with the characters. Becoming one with the world. Come, let us begin.
