Carter Books

This book was awesome! I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me. Okay, well, it was pretty good. Well, it didn't stink too bad. Umm... at least it didn't make me nauseous.

This exhaustive review of the evolutionary changes in the healthcare industry is nonbiased and very readable. An excellent account of the impact of the outcomes movement, quality improvement and information science on how doctors will be treating patients for the foreseeable future. A must for all caregivers and useful for the rest of us seeking state of the art care for ourselves and our families.The author's background and review of recent historical changes provides for a great read.

There are not many books available on ministerial ethics. With the rise in sexual impropriety, financial mismanagement, and other scandalous conduct, Joe Trull and James Carter provide some much needed insight for clergy today. I have been in the pastoral ministry for twenty years, and I cannot think of one ethical issue for ministers they have not addressed. Being written by two Southern Baptists, this volume is understandably most appealing to fellow Baptists. Still, the tone of the chapters and the treatment of the issues are presented in such a way as to apply to all ministers, regardless of denomination.

I recommend this title very highly. Too many ministers have a shallow understanding of the broad range of ethical issues confronting clergy in the 21st century. This book is very readable, and would be a valuable asset on any pastor's bookshelf. Well worth the price!

Al Carter takes a dry, difficult to understand subject and uses his co-author, Larry Lymphocyte, a cytotoxic-T-cell, to enlighten not only the reader but also Al Carter about the importance of minerals to the human body. I feel people need to know why we need to take mineral supplements to ensure the health of our cells. A must read for all health conscious people. I give the book an A+. Way-to-go Al Carter.

This is a terrific scholarly book that is remarkably clear and successful in its mission. Carter crams the book full of relevant facts and practical contextual background, making this a first-read source for those interested in the practicality, economics, and aesthetic presumptions of early baroque theater and opera. What makes it such an enjoyable book, however, is that the circumstances that give rise to each work are treated narratively, making the book a compelling read and giving it a very engaging "plot." Additionally, Carter's syntax is quite graceful, conveying all manner of substantiated fact and contextual balance without ever letting readability suffer.

Professor Smith contributes a highly readable, erudite, study of the Carter administation. He fairly examines its shortcomings, and tries to explain how Carter's attempt to meld morality and real politics failed. A must read for students of the period, and a good source for further research. To be fair, Professor Smith was a Professor of mine.

This book is great for little kids. They get to learn colors. Plus, pictures pop out! A great learning book.

A well-made book with great color photos! Great info on how to choose a bike and accessories that's right for your budget, strengthening exercises that will improve your biking fitness, maintenance and riding techniques. This is one of the few books where you'll find descriptions of the "best biking spots" in North America and worldwide!

Learning with Emilie about God's comfort in the difficult times is extra special because she takes you through her difficult walk. It's also special because it is a book from someone we already know, love and trust to tell us the truth about our lives. Thanks Emilie and remember we are all still praying for you!

This book was the best. Not only did they have good facts, but awesome pictures too. Definatly a keeper.
