I was terrified of just about everything after reading this book. Even the great Stephen King writes similarly to Lovecraft! Oh, and speaking of King, with that story "Crouch End"... YIKES! If you want to read this Stephen King story, it is now in Nightmares & Dreamscapes. Sweet dreams...

Another great book by NY Public Library. Even as an adult I find new and interesting things to read in these books. I highly recommend them to all ages.

Campbell Harvey's dictionary is an invaluable resource, but use the on-line version for free!

this book is just lovely- the photos are so beautiful! the homes are elegant but not too overdone. i have lots of decorating books for my coffee table but this is my favorite. i also highly recommend rooms by mariette gomez.

This book is an ideal resource for storytellers and players looking to play a "road game" of Requiem. It's got a lot of detail on why specific covenants would send their members on the road, the roles that various clans play in road coteries, specifics on concerns that vampires would face on the road, devotions, Cruac rituals, Theban sorcery, a sample of road antagonists or allies (including the oft-mentioned Unholy!) and a sample setting, Route 666.

All in all, a great book, though honestly a bit heavily priced for such a thin book.

This book is the first and best complete history of the famous 1903 Springfield rifle. It is logically written and laid out for easy reference for finding pertinent details quickly for the collector. The line drawings are clear and accurate in detail. It is an easy read and should be a part of every serious Springfield collector's library.

This book was written by one of my instructors and then used in the classroom. A great tool for those needing assitance with Office 97.

Preschoolers love this book. I've read it to groups in the library - it's perfect for the preschool classroom too as well as one-to-one between parent and child. Buster visits grandmother's farm and goes to look for some eggs. He visits the animals, hidden under flaps, and asks for eggs - the horse, the cow the pig and so one until he finally finds an egg for his breakfast under the hen. Each time (until the end of course) the refrain "no eggs here. Oh Dear!" is repeated and children soon catch on and join in. I hope the publisher will reprint this book, it deserves a long and happy life. A great companion for this book in the classroom would be Ruth Heller's CHICKENS AREN'T THE ONLY ONES.
