A beautifully-produced, compact book on the architecture and urban landscape of colonial Hong Kong from the mid 19th century into the 1930's. Introduction, fold-out map, over 75 illustrations, bibliography, 167 pp. Moss is interested in aesthetics, in the purposes of buildings, in their histories, in their builders, in their locations, in their original occupants, and mostly in the buildings' relationships to the changing history of Hong Kong.

This is a great book from a great writer. Elisabeth Cameron writes in a nice personal style. Her books (see also Isnt She a Doll) are an excellent mix between art and antropology. Throughout both books there are good pictures of art objects in use. Loved both books.

Arthur the Talking Goat is a wonderful children's book. Children will enjoy looking at the precious illustrations as they read or listen to the book being read to them. I plan to buy the rest of the series as soon as they are published. Anyone who buys this book will not be disappointed.

The Progressive Art Collection comprises more than 6,300 pieces displayed nationwide and represents the international gold standard for corporate collecting. This striking compendium represents a cross-section of the collection, showcasing the work of nearly 300 artists from Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, and Robert Rauschenberg, to Andreas Gursky, Brigitte Nahon, Petah Coyne, and Vik Muniz. This art is not mere food for thought. This is fuel for fire.

measurement of Bone age, is to say assessment of skeletal maturity was complex and vague work. Two method were usually used. One was Greulich and Pyle.s atlas. It was original and traditional method but was outdated on some point. Other was this book, Tanner and Whitehouse,s method, It,s 3rd edition was published on 2002. Additionally prediction of Adult Height was added. I prefered this book. But Its data and technique was not confirmed generally.
(Soory for my poor writing, But it was good book for pediatrician and prthopedic surgeon)

THIS ATLAS REPRESENTS ABOUT THE BEST THERE IS FOR A SURGICAL TEACHING TEXTBOOK. EVERY OPERATION IS ILLUSTRATED AND DETAILED STEP BY STEP WITH SUCH A CLARITY AND ACCURACY THAT INDEED GIVES THE READER A FIRST ALMOST-REAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE ACTUAL PROCEDURE, EVEN BEFORE GETTING TO THE O.R. UNFORTUNATELY IS OUT OF PRINT AND VERY HARD TO FIND.I READ FROM OUR DEPARTMENT'S LIBRARY. I'M DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO TRY TO OWN ONE BECAUSE IT WOULD DEFINITELY REPRESENT THE BEST VALUE AND ASSET IN ANY SURGUCAL REFERNCE LIBRARY.

I remeber strugling as medical student and resident trying to transfer my knowledge of anatomy. Everything click the first time I went through Cameron's book. I have see his newer additions but this one is still by far my favoirit, unfortunatly so many of the amazing templates were not included in the new addition and replaced by text. Being a visual learner I prefer the images. The pciters just spoon feed you how to due theprocedures. It is unmatched by any other atlas I have ever seen. The only thing beter is actually have an attending go over the procedures in the cadaver lab. You think you know a procedure but all the danagers that are arouond were you are working, are you aware of them? After studing this atlas the anatomy never looked the same, you start seeing what is there and also what is around what you are working.

The collaborative effort of Dan Cameron (Senior Curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York); David S. Rubin (Curator of Visual Arts at the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans), and art consultant Estill Curtis Pennington , Baby-Boom Daydreams: The Art Of Douglas Bourgeois showcases the live and work of American figurative artist Douglas Bourgeois. His subject matter ranged from the everyday citizenry of Louisiana, to pop-culture artifacts, environmental concerns, social issues, iconic "Golden Age" Hollywood personalities, to contemporary rock 'n' roll. Comprised of three insightful and informed essays enhanced with reproductions of key works raging from 1975 to 2001, Baby-Boom Daydreams is a welcome and highly recommended addition to personal and academic 20th Century American Art History collections.
