Butler Books

This particular edition of the Bible called "Experiencing God" has been such a blessing to my life, not only it for the way it shows how to open our hearts and souls to what God can, is, and will be doing in our lives. What makes this Bible so recomendable are the footnotes, which not only guide you, but show you how He can be real in your life.

Sandra Bultler is a gifted writer and is even more gifted at extracting the Spiritual Message that is locked in the pages of the Bible. She was able to put into words thinks that were deep witin me yet I had not the words to express these ideas. Nor in all my studies have I ever heard the message that is contained in the Bible in this Light.. I can not use enough words to speak on the value to Mankind that is within the pages of this book. Not a suprise since Sandra means HELPER OF MANKIND!!

When I initially saw the title I thought it might be yet another one of those books on Bible Code... I am so very happy that I am wrong about that. And that I felt compelled to read the book. It is a Life Changer.

A must read book..

My plan was to use these two little booklets for my teens as they are currently studying apologetics. However, I find myself using them too as I study the Catholic faith more deeply.

These are not apologetics books, but resource information. They are a tool to be used alongside your Bible. In fact, they are similar to a concordance, only they are small enough to put right into your Bible or to slip into your purse.

Volume One covers Catholic teaching on Authority, Beliefs & Practices, and Salvation. Volume Two covers Catholic teaching on Sacraments, Morality, and Afterlife. They are further broken down into subsections. Bible verses are given in each section and subsection to support the Church's teaching. There are also some short explanatory paragraphs, but the main purpose is to supply Bible verses.

Excellent book! This is just what I wanted to give my grandson to counter the raging anti-hunting screeching so prevalent in the mass media.

A wonderful, mostly light-hearted look at God without any intervening force. She writes directly from her spirit. There is no hint of the "Old Testament" view of God, Jeanie Butler speaks with God as you would a buddy, pal or companion. A great read. Would make a super Chistmas, Chanukah or holiday gift.

Birds of Shenandoah National Park features a brief entry for each of 336 avian species sighted in the area of Blue Ridge in North Carolina and Virginia, and the Great Smoky Mountains. Each entry consists of the species' common name, its scientific name, its approximate size, a verbal description of its appearance and characteristic habits, and a brief summary of where it can be found during what seasons of the year; yet by far the most valuable identifier are the illustrations, almost all of which are in full color. An index, a checklist, and a brief supplementary section of birds that are not common in the area round out this elegantly useful guide.

Appears a great book...but not tested in action, only reviewed in USA.

This is a wonderful book. It's the story of the Black Robin and how they were saved. There were only 5 left, and only one was a female. She was already older than breeding age. Don and his crew moved them to predator free Chatham Island. Old Blue (the female Black Robin) suddenly changed mates and started laying eggs. Don had the idea that if he took the young chicks to be fostered by another species, she might lay more eggs. It worked and now there are over 100 Black Robins. I know Don personally, but even if I didn't, he would be a hero to me. Don also saved the Kakapo, the world's largest parrot by weight, and one of the most endangered. He's a genius when it comes to birds, and very humble about it. There must be a special place in Heaven for people like Don Merton.

I'm not a big fan of romance novels at all. But the romance between the two main characters here felt very real, and was easy to get into. The science fiction element was an extremely big part of the plot. If you don't like space ships and robots, this isn't the book for you.

Action, romance and occasional humor. Great read.

This is the best base reference for the wide field of wine antiques and a must have for anyone who has an interest in the field, whether a collector, student or dealer.
