Anne Kelleher Bush has done it again. The Misbegotten King ties up everything from the first two books and then some. The power in her writing comes through in everything from the relationships between the characters and the strategy between warring armies. Her blending of fantasy and science fiction is fresh and exciting. This book is a must read for everyone who has read the first two books and those who haven't. Dianne Miller (TRDZ95A@prodigy.com

MISSION UNACCOMPLISHED is a must-read for the stay-at-home news junkie who wants a clear and concise evaluation of the failed invasion of Iraq. While reading the book, I felt like I was in a group of well-educated friends enjoying a conversation about current events. Tom Engelhardt has assembled a broad and ecletic group of thinkers and activists, including participants in the September 2005 anti-war demonstration in Washington, D.C. Engelhardt asks perceptive questions--the sort you wish you had thought of to ask yourself.

I read every book of poetry I can possibly get my hands on, some of it good and some of it not so good. But, Todd K Bush offers a most unique voice. His voice is his own and not one given to any style or meter. He is unique and the power of his words have a depth of complexity and intricacy which draws the soul in languid silence. His poetic voice is mesmerizing. You will not be disappointed in the spell this man creates or the illusions he bestows upon your heart. Rarely will one come across poetry this fulfilling and rendering. Buy five copies and give four away to your friends. This poetry is spectacular.

Schulman is right. This is American History. And since it's not in the textbooks, someone like Schulman has to put it out there in print.

Schulman writes passionately about gay and lesbian issues. About the Lower East Side. About AIDS. Schulman cares about her world and it shows in her writing. I enjoy her novels but her essays are where she shines. She's an incredible essayist and an inspiration to me.

Sarah - It's time for another edition of this book. As you wrote, this first book was Volume 1.

It takes a true leader not a double speaking, flip flopper, to protect this nation. We need someone who is devoted to maintaining a strong military, not someone who will look to cut military spending and rely on foreign nations to defend the United States of America. President Bush has kept us safe since the attacks on 9-11. Four More Years

Being a health care executive, I feel I am fairly qualified to write a review on health care books. This book was very impressive, and I especially liked hearing what other executives of health care companies think about the future of the industry. I have read too many business books by unknown authors-this was finally one with some insight from people in industry. I highly recommend this book to any one interested in health care or in the health care industry.

A short concise overview on the Dutch and how they settled New Amsterdam. Every word the author uses is well chosen, and paints a clear picture of how the Dutch acted in America. I would recommentd this concise work to all who want a good overview of the beginnings of New Amsterdam, i.e. New York.

Whenever I recognise factual errors in any work of non-fiction (and I frequently do!), those errors are taken into account when it comes to judging - and reviewing, the work. In the case of this book, I have no way of knowing whether the well-argued and well-reasoned facts surrounding the events in the USA on 11 September 2001 (now known by the acronym "Nine-Eleven") as assembled and described in great detail by the author have any basis or not.

Nevertheless, it is because those allegations "are" well-argued and well-reasoned that this book stands out as one that must be read by all those people on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean who care anything at all about this new style of terrorism, the direction in which the threat it poses is taking our respective countries and the consequential actions (or not!) taken by our leaders.

It is easy to say we have a right to ask questions. It is more important to assert we have a right to demand answers. To return to my original point, therefore, whether or not the allegations in this book have any basis in fact or not, they are allegations which must be addressed by those leaders.

It is important to note that this author is not alone in making such accusations, so this is not a maverick publication. Instead it raises the most worrying and disturbing questions about a series of events which shook the world and, in doing so, made a permanent change to that world - forever!

I live in a small English village. No, not New England, USA - the original England that is still part of Great Britain. Eleven people from this region alone died in the twin towers and similar figures are repeated across this country. I do believe, therefore, it is fair to say we all have an interest in what happened on that defining day and what is being done about it.

Whatever your personal views about those events, whatever your personal involvement (or otherwise), I have reached the conclusion this book should be REQUIRED READING for all citizens of the USA and UK. Once read, you will be asking yourself; Well, did they?, or didn't they? And why do those basic questions about the standard procedures relating to US Air Defences remain unanswered by those at the very top? Or is it we simply don't care how the war is won just as long as it is?

Leading arguments for the alternative view of 9/11
Helpful Votes: 1 out of 1 total.
Review Date: 2007-12-07
The official conspiracy theory holds that 19 hijackers of Muslim Arab origin under direction of a former CIA operative with kidney disease from a cave in Afghanistan in a secret operation defeated the most advanced air-defense system in the world in a surprise attack. The alternative conspiracy theory holds that men in positions of power within the US political structure, military services, and intelligence agencies--who would stand to gain incredibly more power--planned, enabled, and/or controlled the attacks of 9/11. The alternative theory by necessity also holds that the perpetrators of 9/11 covered up their crime largely through the advocacy of an official conspiracy theory.
