I have been a big fan of the RoosterTeeth/RvB site for over two years now. Every other day there is a new comic for viewers
to enjoy. It is FROM gamers, TO gamers, ABOUT gamers. So how could I possibly resist? Answer: I couldn't! I'm on the site
3-5 nights per week. I'm hooked! Yes, the site is THAT great. The comics are an added bonus.
The comics are drawn by some pretty talented folks. No, not "pretty" as in cute (though they are). Griffon "Griff" Ramsey and Luke McKay are the main men. The characters in the comic are based on the RoosterTeeth/RvB staff. Sometimes they include characters based on members they have come to know on the site. (To be drawn as a character in the comic is considered the highest of honors.)
Now that the site has hit the big time, so to speak, and there are enough comics, RT/RvB has put them all together to form this comic book. An entire year of comics, compiled and bound into one oversized paperback "graphic" novel. Is the comic funny? Uh, yeah! After being tired of hunting for the book and finding it in my son's room (or learning that my son is gone to a friend's house and took it with him), I finally just purchased a copy for my teen.
Whether you visit the RT/RvB site or not, if you are a "gamer", no matter if you are PC or any type of console, you will L-O-V-E this book.
When year two comes out, I will just purchase two copies and save myself a lot of stress.

I have a cookbook library numbering in the 100's and this little book is one of the best! I have tried most of the recipes
and all so far have been excellent. The recipes are simple and often use ingredients usually on hand, which allows for last
minute home-made.The yields are also a nice proportion since fresh does not keep as long as bottled.I have given this cookbook
as a gift because I like it so much.

A MUST-HAVE FOR ALL BURNS & ALLEN FANS

If only this classic book were back in print-not only is it a biography of George & Gracie, but it has several pages of pictures(many
never before seen)as well as an appendix in the back giving the synopsis of every television episode from October 1950 thru
September 1958. The book is a good alternate to Gracie-A Love Story written by George himself. On another note, if I may
go a step further, why doesn't Nick-At-Nite pick up the series, surely it's been in syndication for about 40 years? It'd
be great fun seeing them again-George, Gracie, their son Ronnie, Blanche & Harry Morton, & Harry Von Zell. Though they
are quite dated, these shows are still screamingly funny today. Gracie Allen was the 2nd funniest woman in television,
the 1st being the incomparable Lucille Ball. Highly recommended, especially if you are able to find it!

School House Poetry is a great book! I'm glad someone decided a write a book about what goes on in school that is on a child's
level. In school a lot of things can happen and believe it or not kids still get teased or bullied in some way every day. I
know kids will love this book because it's something that we have been needing for a long time. I read some author's poetry
books and most of them are funny. It is good that someone decided to talk about real issues.

The collaborative project of Tony and June Burns, Scroll Saw Farm Puzzles presents and showcases twenty-six easy-to-cut, do-it-yourself
patterns for crafted, three-dimensional, large wooden jigsaw puzzles featuring an American barnyard scene. The pieces put
together a farmer and his wife, various animals including pigs, cows, sheep, and lambs, a tractor, an outhouse, a barn and
much more. Each individual project is cut from common wood, and is composed of 3 or 4 pieces with interlocking cuts. A delightful
woodworking project, with instructions for getting started and tips and techniques for staining and painting the puzzles,
Scroll Saw Farm Puzzles is a terrific addition to any weekend woodworker's project reference shelf.

This inclusive book of poetry has something for everyone--even those who don't like poetry. Burns, the editor, has collected
his own favorite poems in one volume, then arranged them under different headings based on their themes. The poems range
from Chaucer and Shakespeare to "Jabberwocky" to poems written in the late 20th century. The collection is eclectic, but
somehow is held together by the different headings. I can't keep my copy on the shelf, as people are constantly discovering
the book and borrowing it. Definitely worth the read.

Not only did he do this but he also quoted from other Burns biographies. The full spectrum is awesome! I looked at some of the other authors' books but none can compare to the great writing ability of Mr. Douglas. He kept me reading from page to page without want to put this book down!
I'm sure the fact that Hugh Douglas also hails from Aryshire has a lot to do with the brilliance behind his writing this particular biography. One of my wishes in life is to meet this writer of impeccable ability and talent to make one understand the true personality of the "ploughman poet." I have gone from a beginner in knowledge of Robert Burns to an American of Scot heritage that is proud of the fact that because of THE TINDER HEART, she knows much more about the National Bard (N with a capital N, and B with a capital B) of Scotland. Many of Burns escapades aren't boasted nor toasted on Burns Night. Mr. Douglas brought to life a real man whose realism got him into trouble a lot of times but who still wrote magnificent poetry. Robert Burns was passionate not only about his women but also his children, family and friends.
If I were to choose one biography out of the lot written about Robert Burns then THE TINDER HEART by Hugh Douglas is the one to purchase! You need NOT spend your money elsewhere!
Cheers! Janet "the Other Scot"
